Profighting 6 Taipei Heavyweight grand prix results
The sixth profighting event is about to get started here in Taipei.
Tonight's event is an 8 man tournament with 3 non-tournament fights. sorry in advance for formatting problems. im using my phone. (Fixed)
First round:
- Hai Suk Son (Korea, 4-3) vs Clayton Jones (U.S., 2-1) * Hai Suk Sun wins by k.o. early in round 1
- Vaughn "Blud" Anderson (Canada, 12-1-1) vs Tim Kretschmer (Germany, mma debut) Vaughn wins by tko in under a minute. his opponent took the fight on 3 days notice.
- Daniel Johan Mackie (U.S., 1-0) vs Nae Chul Kim (Korea, 21-7...not sure if thats mma or kickboxing) Mackie wins by UD after 2 rounds.
- Matt Semper (U.S., mma debut) vs Ibrahim Eid ( Egypt, 3-1) This fight did not happen , no reason was given.
Tournament alternate fight
- Wu Dong Xing (Taiwan, 2-2) vs Ho Yi Hen(Taiwan 1-1) Wu Dong Xing wins by T.K.O. in 17 seconds
Super Fights
- Will chope (U.S., debut) vs Isamu Himura (U.S., debut) Will Chope wins by ref stoppage in round three
- Mark Striegl (U.S., 5-0) Vs. Replacement Fighter (apologies, I didn't get his name and he took the fight on 1 day's notice) Mark Striegl wins by submission in Round 1
Round 2 of the tournament:
Daniel Johan Mackie was unable to continue do to injury. Since one of the original matches for the tournament did not take place, the alternate fighter in Wu Dong Xing, was already set to meet Mackie. Mackie's first opponent Nae Chul Kim was also unable to fill the spot, so Wu Dong Xing got a bye to the finals.
- Vaughn Anderson vs. Hai Suk Son Vaughn wind by K.O. in round 2
Tournament Finals:
- Vaughn Anderson vs. Wu Dong Xing Vaughn wins by T.K.O in round 1

yeah Vaughn cut through everyone without much trouble. Will showed a lot of heart taking the fight back after losing the first round (probably).
isamu went into the fight with a rib injury which might have been a factor, still a big win for will and the fact that vaughn fought once more than his opponent makes it even more impressive an achievement.
Matthew Semper’s flight from Phuket to Bangkok was delayed and he missed the flight to Taipei, no idea what happened to the egyptian.
