PrintYes, you just read that title correctly. But before you slap at your keyboards in a hate fueled blood rage, allow me to explain. Cyborg stands on a mountain of skulls. She has devoured all those who have been put before her. She has ironfistedly established herself as the absolute ruler of her domain. There are no challengers that any of us would give a snowballs chance in hell at beating her. After an 18 month layoff, she demolished the number 2 fighter in her division, in 16 seconds.
There simply isn't a fighter who has any real hope of beating her. That isn't the case with any other champion in MMA. Every other champion has a contender(or contenders) with viable ways to defeat them. Maybe they're slim chances, but they exist. With the exception of a Hail Mary armbar by Ronda Rousey, there isn't a path to victory for anyone fighting Cris. She is as close to undefeatable as a fighter can be. Like it or not, no fighter is even in the same realm as her, when it comes to dominance over a division.

Marloes or Ronda have the skills to beat her, but not the strength…Cyborg seems to be encorporating tons of explosive lifting into her training, and if other women aren’t, they need to adapt, or stay away from 145.
It seems like an arms race, like Mir bulking up to hang with the Lesnar/Carwin sized HWs.
Do you think many female fighters want to get bigger and stronger just to attempt to take her on?
Have you ever noticed that anybody driving slower than you is an idiot, and anyone going faster than you is a maniac?

But I think she needs to get random tested. There’s no way she’s not doing something illegal and it’s unfair to the women in MMA who don’t want to turn into men to compete with her.

First off, seeing Cyborg grapple I think Rousey has a great shot of beating her. I’m sure Cyborg has good bjj on the mat, but she has a terrible sense of how to apply it to MMA.
Secondly, she’s fighting in the worst division in MMA right now. If she were a man she would be a fairly average featherweight.
She is an extremely flawed fighter who just happens to be in a very bad division.

Really? I think that fight ends in a vicious beating.
Ronda is a great grappler, but I don’t think she can take one of Cyborgs ridiculous man punches.
Cyborg does hit hard, but she is also very inaccurate. I can conceive of Ronda getting inside without getting too much.

Maybe this is just recency bias, but her striking looked really crisp against Yamanka.
Her punches were tight and fast, and they all seemed to find their mark. You could say that ti was because she was fighting somebody who was legally dead, but her punches didn’t seem wild or sloppy at all to me. She threw a couple of really slick combos too. I think she has spent her layoff tightening up her game.
Look at the replay. After she rocks Yamanaka she throws about six or seven punches and only about two hit flush. Not bad considering this is MMA, but that is actually an improvement over some of her other fights.
And again, Yamanaka isn’t that good.

She is, but only because you have such a shallow division. She is definitely the most dominant, but I could dominate a room of kindergarteners too. Not to say she’s not good, but… It’s not quite the same.
