UFC veteran Gilbert Yvel won his light heavyweight debut, and his first fight since being released from the UFC against Damian Dantibo. This was on the same RFA card as Jens Pulver's brutal loss.
For comparison, Yvel weighed in at 249 lbs. during his last bout against Jon Madsen last year.

Muscle stores more water than fat
Allows you to lose more water weight. And I’m pretty sure Fedor is very bloody muscular; it doesn’t take a high body fat % to make someone appear softer than they are.

I’m really surprised that Yvel was able to successfully cut to 205. I always thought that he was a legit-sized Heavyweight who could not cut to 205. Good for him though.
