Funny picture. It looks like Nick's peepin' Nate's piece.
"Now you see that evil will always triumph, because good is dumb."
How many times is this article going to be written?

It’s like people write articles about fighters EVERY TIME they fight. It’s bullshit. Let’s all talk about Manabu Yamada instead. Deal?

Wait, that piece was about someone who's fighting?
Cause when I read it, all I read about was Nick. Nate’s never displayed the type of out-of-the-cage aggression and antisocial mien that Nick has, yet that’s what’s being celebrated in the article.
On the other hand, if the same author is going to write multiple pieces fawning over the same fighter and the same characteristics of said fighter, well, you’re going to get called on it. Why not look for something under-appreciated about the under-appreciated Diaz?

Really? The first part about Nate being a dick to Cerrone? You didn’t see that part? You don’t remember Nate flipping off the crowd in ProElite and starting a fight with KJ Noon’s dad? Being ready to throw down with Karo on the Ultimate Fighter? Nate might not be as extreme as Nick, sure. But this certainly doesn’t come across as an excuse to write about Nick.

Nate is certainly more aggressive than Nick, but he doesn’t seem to have the extreme social problems his brother does.

Not to sound immature...
…but after all the “the way Jon Jones put down Machida was rude” bullshit, I gained a newfound appreciation for a kid that flips people off as he’s choking you.

I thought Jones dropping Machida like a sack of potatoes was awesome.

no one hates the diaz brothers
it is just that some people just don’t have the skills to appreciate good fighters

You are provably wrong.
I appreciate the skills, I hate the attitude.
I especially hate the fanboys who worship that attitude without understanding that it’s an act, a lifelong spiny shell formed out of a childhood of pain and designed to keep the world as far as possible away from the person because each brother is so afraid the world will hurt them again. I hate that people worship the “I don’t give a fuck” attitude without understanding that it’s a miserable way to live. Nick and Nate happen to be two of the few people on the planet earth with some sort of talent of a magnitude large enough to allow them to overcome that attitude without shedding it. And both of them (Nick especially) still seem to hate everything, all the time, forever. Yeah boys. Keep it “real.”
Share for share, share alike, you'll get struck each time I strike.

Yep.
I would just add that most people who revere that kind of attitude do so out of a desire to defeat the insecurities within themselves.
“He’s bad ass ‘cause he don’t give a fuck.”
I personally think not giving a fuck is overrated.
The Diaz’, however, can fookin fight.

gzl5000, have you been reading my diary?
so true, what you says.

i do love/hate the diaz brothers.
and by that i mean I hate Nate, and i find Nick surprisingly amusing and love watching him fight.
"is my penis really small, or are my thighs just really big?"
Nick just seems delusional.
Nate seems like he might actually be a bit tarded.
"is my penis really small, or are my thighs just really big?"
Yeah, if you judge "athleticism" by how closely you resemble Hulk.
I don’t know how to respond to someone saying semi-pro triatheles have unauthentic bodies.

bit of a fail on saying "unauthentic"
otherwise, you had a good point. saying they have the most out of shape looking bodies outside of the HW division would be the correct statement. sometimes the frailest softbody looking bro could be surprisingly a hell of an athlete. your learn that quick playing basketball all your life.

everybody can't look like a juice monkey
anderson silva doesn’t look all that buff either. yet he is still the champion.
