Looks like I’ll have to hunt down Fuel
by Inspectorxr5 on Dec 14, 2011 1:11 PM EST via mobile reply actions
No
Fuel is just doing this to counter the Dream NYE event on HDNET. I’ve been waiting for years to watch Tim Sylvia fight Brett Rogers and Emelianenko vs. Ishii. I’ll be damned if Fuel takes away potential JMMA fans. They’re even talking about bringing back Ricardo “the blanket” Arona to fight Bob Sapp..

I never saw that one but I bet it was great. I’ll always love freakshows at heart.

I believe Jerome Le Banner will be there, but I’m not sure whether he will be wrestling or kickboxing, since he is the Inoki Genome Federation HW champion.

Dream On
Yeah I bet that Dream event will actually be really fun. Although I don’t think they’ll have English commentary for the Pro-Wrestling matches. It would be awesome if they did.

Schiavello and Trigg can talk to pro wrestling.
The Voice is always dropping wrestling references and Trigg had that little foray into pro wrestling, too.
I would bet they commentate them but it’ll be tongue in cheek, which could be quite entertaining.

The Voice is still a pro wrestling fan, I believe? At least mildly. But he was a huge 80’s wrestling fan.
And Trigg was Kurt Angle’s shadow in TNA.

Damn
At first I was pissed I didn’t have Fuel. Now I’m thinking it that’s a good thing, because I can still have a social life, otherwise I’d never leave my house…

Some of this programming might be on the british versions of FX and Spike...
… Maybe some of it will be on EPSN as well, but EPSN seem to have suggested they have enough UFC for their liking when they didn’t air Hardy vs Lytle.
To be honest I can’t see us Brits getting very much of this programming at all.
Miller is the key to guillards comeback.. 2012 be on the look out for guillard because he bout to start running through the lw division again.

Uh, Guillard’s dropping a decision and falling further down the depth chart bud. Just sayin’.

Jim Miller has never been to sleep and Guillard likes to go to sleep on chokes, which Miller likes to use. Slap yourself twice!

Miller won't touch guillard
guillard won’t come in reckless this time. if miller don’t go to sleep he will just get tagged for three rounds..

Miller was fairly close to being stopped by Bendo
Actually if that were a 5 round main event I have no doubt Bendo would get the TKO.
Jim hasn’t really fought many guys with proven KO power so this is an interesting test.

The Season 1 Blow the Staff CHAMPION!
The Season 2, 3 and 4 Cat Molesting CHAMPION!

They had me at Best of PRIDE
One of my biggest life regrets is being a post-PRIDE (actually post-TUF 7) MMA fan. I’ve only seen a crap-res intro and some highlights, that’s pretty much it. Depresses me knowing that I missed out on the sports best days :’(

It's ok
Those days were cool because I could just turn on ESPN randomly throughout any day of the week and they’d have the Pride shows on. Don’t fret though, you can always download Silva vs. Jackson II and other great fights from Pride. What matters is you’re a fan today. I wished I was following it in the 90s to tell the truth, so I know what it’s like. Just trying to empathize with ya man. I use to rent high quality dvds of old Pride and UFC events if you want to look there for good quality videos.

Ion isn't always reliable
Sometimes Ion would have schedule Bodogfight or Bellator events online and in TV Guide. But then I’d tune in at the right time and they’d have an informercial for Extenze and other crap. It sucked be wary of that channel.

So depressed
This is like dream programming and I don’t get Fuel! I might actually have to see how expensive the package is to get it.

I would love access to all of that programming. The worst thing is knowing that I’m feeding into the exact reaction they want from those of us who don’t already have Fuel. $$$

Post-shows!
Yes…it’s taken way too long for this…after the main events of PPV’s it’s just such a dropoff from the post-fight interviews to re-airs. No little closing remarks/summary by the announce team? Never understood why they did that. Now we’ll get Anik and maybe his boyfriend Florian? Big improvement!
