who cares about nog
that jet is saucy
I wonder if they rent it, or buy time on it on a jetshare
they aren’t savage enough for a private jet just for the UFC yet

ha, dana and lorenzo each have their own planes, and if i'm not mistaken Lorenzo's wife has a plane of her own
I know this mostly because of dana’s Vlogs.
Keep in mind that each of the fertitas has over a billion dollars from not only the UFC but also the casino business.
A private jet is nothing to them.
owned outright?
The latest G6 is 55 million, and you have to do ALL the maintenance and pay a pilot, adds up quick. And it has to be done right cause people you care about are going to be using the airframe
from a logistics standpoint I could easily understand Station owning a jet or two for high rollers, but at 3 dedicated planes you are already looking at over 1/10th a billion on initial investment alone.
CEO’s need to move in style, but companies that do long term leases on airframes seems the likely route, and they are everywhere in wealth / aviation magazines

you seem to know more about planes than i do so i'll take your word for it.
btw, here is the vlog where “his” plane breaks down, and he has to to take “mrs. fertittas” G4.

I AM STILL SHOCKED.
Why oh why didn’t he just finish him with strikes.
Frank Mir > Noguiera.
I still think Noguiera can beat him but at this point, it’s a wrap.

Uh huh. Or they’re shipping him to where being wealthy allows you to jump in line before other people.

Yeah, that’s what would happen.
It's that the world is basically a forced labor camp from which the workers, perfectly innocent, are led forth by lottery, a few each day, to be executed.
I don't think that's just the way I see it. I think that's the way it is. Are there alternative views? Yes. Will any of them stand close scrutiny? No.

dude
big nog was on the freaking verge of doing a carbon copy of what carwin did to mir. it was eerie how both fights looked almost.. and of course, shane just hulk smashes.. so he went with what he knew. and big nog is a proud bjj masta. oh well :/
I love Big Nog, but what a dumb ass. I don’t get this whole I resfuse to tap ideology some guys have. I understand that you are a black belt and black belts don’t like to tap but now he’s not going to be fighting for what 8-10 months or so. You’re not getting any younger Nog, you need to be able to compete every chance you have because your window in this sport is closing quickly.
I'm gonna give you three seconds; exactly three-fucking-seconds to wipe that stupid looking grin off your face or I will gouge out your eyeballs and skull-fuck you!
It’s not like he knew it was going to break. How many times do you think he’s been stuck in a tight kimura in his life and it hasn’t broken? Thousands? The repulsive break/shoulder dislocation came on pretty sudden.
I disagree, I bet he did know what was gonna happen. Mir had it tight and is very strong—there really isn’t another outcome.

I’m pretty sure he knew something was going to give way. Have you ever been in a tight submission? Its pretty clear when you get to the point of doing damage. Prior to any bones breaking ligaments and what not begin to pop and make clearly audible noises which is already a sign of damage. I have been in Kimuras and never broker anything because I tapped in time, but I have had things pop on many occasions and even with minor pops you do damage and are often sore for a few weeks or more as a result. He was well aware of what he was doing. His pride just wouldn’t allow him to tap.

I've been in more tight kimuras than I care to admit
… And I agree you feel things in your shoulder strain well before the break point. You don’t feel your humourous though, because most people don’t have the strength to do that and you’re rarely in a position where someone is cranking that hard. Nog tried to keep his body pressed as close to his arm as he could, alleviating the pressure on the shoulder somewhat. I’m willing to bet Nog wasn’t bothered when the arm was being hammerlocked, beyond concern about where his arm could end up. The arm pops not long after Mir gets the arm out and up.
I don’t know that thing was pretty damn tight for a while before it poped. If I was in that position it would be quite clear to me that if I didn’t tap something bad was going to happen. Maybe not a broken arm but torn tendon or something of a serious nature. I honestly think big Nogs pride just wouldn’t allow him to tap.

He is a dumbass for not continuing to pound Mir while he was so close to being done
