UFC 140 Results: Chan Sung Jung Knocks Out Mark Hominick Early In First Round

Chan Sung Jung knocked Mark Hominick out at :07 in the first round.

Mark Hominick missed his first punch of his fight with Chan Sung Jung. It would be his only attempt as the Korean Zombie landed a right hand clean and followed it up with some quick ground and pound. Referee Herb Dean stepped in and stopped the fight. Hominick popped up as the fight was called.

Mark Hominick received the loudest reaction of the night, walking out to P. Diddy's "I'm Coming Home". Tonight was his first fight without long time trainer Shawn Tompkins in his corner. In the post fight Hominick paid his respects to Jung and thanked the Canadian fans for their support. Jung is best known for his first fight with Leonard Garcia. He is now 2-0 in the organization. The knockout is tied for the fasted in UFC history. Mark Hominick drops his second straight fight and is now 1-2 in the UFC at featherweight.
