UFC 140: Jones vs. Machida - Live Results and Play-By-Play for ION TV Undercard

As with every major show, Bloody Elbow will be here to bring you live results, play by play and commentary for UFC 140: Jones vs. Machida. Our live coverage will start with the beginning of the Facebook prelim stream (5:45 p.m. ET), continuing through the ION TV prelim broadcast (7 p.m. ET) and finally through the pay-per-view broadcast (9 p.m. ET) so make sure to make Bloody Elbow your home for this event.

Four bouts are scheduled for the prelim broadcast. In the featured bout on the undercard, Krzysztof Soszynski takes on Igor Pokrajac in a light heavyweight fight. John Makdessi and Dennis Hallman square off while Jared Hamman will face Constantinos Philippou. Also on the broadcast, Yves Jabouin faces Walel Watson.

In the evening's main event, Jon Jones will take on Lyoto Machida on pay-per-view.

Yves Jabouin vs. Walel Watson - Round 1 - Watson looking to stay on the outside and flashing some fancy kicks but not getting all the way there. Watson tries for a superman punch but gets cracked with a right hand. Both guys throwing a lot of power but not landing post of what they're using. Watson with a spinning backfist that misses and Jabouin with a right hand counter. Jabouin takes him to the cage and takes him to the ground. They're back to their feet fairly quickly and again it's a distance battle. Watson with a three strike combination that doesn't land. Right hand by Watson and a leg kick by Jabouin. Nice flurry by Yves at the end of the round. 10-9 Jabouin.

Round 2 - Jabouin coming forward with a leg kick. Watson has a body kick get caught but gets back to the outside. They trade push kicks to the knees. Leg kick by Watson. Watson opens up and lands a nice series of strikes with Jabouin getting nothing in but a punch to the chest. Both men throw spinning kicks, both men miss. Nice leg kick by Jabouin. Both men trading with Watson getting the best of it with a knee to the body. Spinning backfist by Jabouin and a takedown. Watson has a guillotine locked in. Watson can't finish it and Jabouin gets out right at the end of the round. 10-9 Watson.

Round 3 - They're still trading punches with Watson landing the occasional body kick. Hard leg kick by Watson. Hard leg kick by Jabouin. Another hard shot to the leg. Spinning backfist by Jabouin and he tries for a takedown but Watson ends up spinning to top. Short elbows by Watson as he works his arm through. Watson with a very deep d'arce choke now. Jabouin manages to get out and they're back to standing. Spinning back kick almost lands for Jabouin but is a bit short. Left hand for Jabouin. 10-9 Watson on my card but the scores are going to be all over the place here.

Dennis Hallman vs. John Makdessi - Round 1 - Hallman tries to run forward and get a takedown. He clinches up Makdessi and pushes him to the cage. Makdessi defending the takedown well so far but he's going to have to get distance. Makdessi grabs the cage twice to avoid getting taken down. Now he does get taken down. Hallman has the back and he's landing hard shots and still looking for a choke. Now into mount and Makdessi is trying to defend but is still getting punched. Hallman ends up on the back again now and this time gets the choke and it's over. Dennis Hallman wins by submission (rear naked choke), 2:58 round 1.

Jared Hamman vs. Constantinos Philippou - Round 1 - Hamman comes out with a leg kick and Costa checks it. Costa lands a left over the top. Philippou gets in with another right hand and now a nice flurry. Hamman takes the punches well. Costa with a huge shot that hurts Hamman. He follows up again and Hamman goes down. Hamman survives and has his back taken, The choke is in but Hamman gets out again. They're standing again and Hamman looks completely fine somehow. Big shots from Philippou again and Hamman clinches up again but he's hurt bad. Hamman taken down, gets back up and Philippou unloads again and now Hamman slumps to the ground on his face. Constantinos Philippou wins by KO (punch), 3:11 round 1.

Igor Pokrajac vs. Krzysztof Soszynski - Round 1 - Hard jab for K-Sos lands. Pokrajac landing hard over and over and K-Sos is in trouble. Punch after punch after punch landing for Pokrajac and K-Sos is out cold. Wow. Igor Pokrajac wins by KO (punches), 0:35 round 1.
