Here are some of my thought after UFC 138,

First off i'd like to start with who i feel did the most to say " Hey, lookie me i'm legitimate." That friends would be Renan Barao. I actually picked Pickett to win this but Renan Barao show he can stand in the pocket and deliever lethal blows to his opponent. Where some people might 0want to jump ship and give him a title shot, i'd like to see him fight Demetrious Johnson or Scott Jorgensen before getting a crack at Dominick Cruz.

For Brad Pickett, i'd like to say yeah, you blew a possible title shot in front of your home town but all is not lost. You're still an arguably top 10 135 in the world. I was simply surprised that as good as his striking was he didn't try to mix it up more with his wrestling that his got him to where he is. Coming out of American Top Team i suspect that a loss to a stud like Renan Barao in front of his home crowd will only motivate and bring out a more talented version of Mr.Pickett. Perhaps a battle with Eddie Wineland or Takeya Mizugaki.
