It was a terrible fight, but I think that as time goes on, people will only remember the head kick and nothing else.

I’m not saying that no one will remember how bad Arlovski vs Fulton was, but the way things work is that most people, over time, tend to remember the finish more than the whole fight.

he’s either too tentative against overmatched opponents, or is too aggressive against fighters he SHOULD be less brash against. Having a champion’s mindset takes an incredible balance, one that Andrei was only able to find for a short time in his career.

Definition of a can-
A “tomato can” or simply “tomato” or “can” is an idiom for a fighter with poor or diminished skills (at least when compared with the opponent they are placed against) who may be considered an easy opponent to defeat, or a “guaranteed win.” Fights with “tomato cans” can be arranged to inflate the win total of a professional fighter.
A “tomato can” is usually a fighter with a poor record, whose skills are substandard or who lacks toughness or has a “glass chin.” “Tomato cans” are similar to jobbers in professional wrestling in that they serve to enhance the stature of someone the promotion uses to draw a crowd.
Difference between cans and Journeyman/ gatekeepers:
A journeyman is defined as a fighter who has adequate skill, but does not have the caliber of a contender or gatekeeper.
A gatekeeper is a skilful and well-regarded fighter, but who does not have the popularity or brilliance of a contender. They are considered to be a cut above most journeymen.
I would DEFINITELY consider Fulton to be a Journeyman.

AA hasn't been what he used to be in a long time
But if the guy is going to keep choosing to fight, then I hope he can find as much success at the tail end of his career as possible.
It sucks hearing about a guy who is on like a 6-7 fight losing streak, is getting ended quick every time, but still keeps going because he has virtually no other source of income.
