I'm not crazy about rubbing things in, I don't particularly love to gloat...but considering that a certain Bantamweight wrecked his opponent today, and that a certain vast majority of people are now recognizing him as the rising 'big deal' that he is...I will say that I kinda called this...or I at least said 'Hey, you might want to look out for this guy' nearly 2.5 months ago.

That fanpost was rec'd by 2 people and had an amazing grand total of 18 comments...I'd say it's safe to say that a lot of people didn't read it, or that most people that did read it didn't exactly think I was onto anything.

But Barao went out there against the currently #8 ranked Brad Pickett. He dropped Pickett with a vicious knee and jumped on him, scoring a first round submission.

Renan Barao is now on an impressive 27 fight undefeated streak(that's tied with what Fedor did) and is still only 24, and seems to still be improving...Pickett is absolutely a tougher opponent then Cole Escovedo, and Barao put on a much better performance against Pickett then he did Escovedo.

In other news, I only oncorrectly predicted two fights on this card, I said Abedi and Leben would win. On top of that, I picked the winner AND the method correctly for every fight but De Fries. I said he would win by sub. But other then that, I called Cariaso by decision, Omigawa by decision, Mills by TKO, Perosh by sub, Etim by sub, Barao by sub...so yeah, good stuff from me. I needed a rebound after doing so horribly with 137.
