On the web stream, John Maguire makes his UFC debut against Justin Edwards. Also, Michihiro Omigawa looks to get his first UFC win after two straight losses when he faces Jason Young and Rob Broughton faces Philip De Fries. Rounding out the card Chris Cope takes on Che Mills and Chris Cariaso battles Vaughan Lee . There's some potential for decent fights on the undercard so it may be worth a watch.

Vaughan Lee vs. Chris Cariaso - Round 1 - Lee misses with a head kick and again with another. Cariaso lands two right hands. Lee with a head kick and now he's looking for a standing guillotine but can't finish it. Knees to the thigh by Lee and Cariaso turns him against the cage. Lee turns him and gets the takedown into half guard. Cariaso gets full guard back. Lee with some nice punches from the top. Cariaso manages to stand up but almost gets taken down if not for grabbing the cage. Elbow in tight by Cariaso. Lee with another takedown against the cage. The Facebook stream goes down for about a minute and now the fighters are back standing once it comes back. Lee with another takedown. Lee looking for the guillotine from the top allows Cariaso to stand back up. 10-9 round for Lee.
Round 2 - Left hand by Cariaso and Lee answers with a flurry that involves a few spinning kicks and now he gets the fight back to the ground. Cariaso manages to get up using the cage. Good elbow on the way out by Cariaso appears to stun Lee a bit. Now Cariaso comes forward with a few punches but doesn't land. Lee misses with a punch but uses the momentum to get inside into a clinch again. Cariaso turns him though. Cariaso with a nice flurry and he lands a hard left and now dries through, getting a takedown. Cariaso on top working his ground and pound and passes to mount. Lee escapes the mount, ends up back there a minute later and escapes again. Much better round for Cariaso and he takes it 10-9.
Round 3 - Cariaso with an inside leg kick and a right hand. Lee pushes him into the cage and they're separated after a lack of action. Cariaso with a takedown attempt that is avoided and Lee pushes him back into the cage. Both men working knees against the cage and now Cariaso throws a four punch combination. Lee working hard for a takedown against the cage and can't get it. Cariaso turns and gets the takedown himself and lands a short elbow. Pass to half guard by Cariaso and now passes to side control. Full mount by Cariaso and he postures up landing punches. Lee gives up his back. Cariaso is pulling away with the fight now. Cariaso almost locks in an arm triangle but instead remains in mount landing very big elbows. Cariaso closes the fight looking for a choke and should get a 10-9 round to win the fight 29-28.
Official Scorecards: 29-28 Lee, 29-28 Cariaso, 29-28 Cariaso. Chris Cariaso wins by split decision. No idea how a judge gave Lee two rounds there.
Chris Cope vs. Che Mills - Round 1 - Cope with an inside leg kick and eats a jab and a leg kick in return. Another leg kick for Mills. COpe keeps his hands in terrible position to defend. Big punch hurts Cope and a knee drops him. Cope defends decently enough that the ref doesn't stop it. Cope stands up, eats another knee and drops like a rock and that'll do it. Che Mills wins by TKO (knee), round 1.
Michihiro Omigawa vs. Jason Young - Round 1 - Young with a nice right hand. Young lands again and Omigawa with a takedown attempt but Young doesn't go all the way down and is back to striking. Young with a head kick that is just blocked. Young with some sharp leg kicks and nice punches as Omigawa tries to close distance. Young lands again and again avoids the takedown. Very good first two minutes for Young. Omigawa pushes Young into the cage now. Trip to the ground now and he's on top in Young's half guard. Young manages to get to his feet and land an elbow but he's still pinned against the cage. Now they're back at distance. Head kick by Young almost drops Omigawa. Knee lands for Young. Young has some bad swelling over his right eye. Elbow and knees by Young and he goes for a takedown but gets turned. Very good round. 10-9 for Omigawa.
Round 2 - Left hand by Omigawa and now a takedown. Omigawa works some ground and pound from side control and he's looking for an armlock now. Young with a nice rollover to sweep to top and he's standing up. Leg kicks by Young and a short uppercut. Right hand by Omigawa. Nice trip back to top position for Omigawa and he lands an elbow. Omigawa gets to full mount and gets pulled back into half guard as he just doesn't attack and give Young anything to think about other than regaining position. Back to full mount now and he throws a few punches before Young gets half guard back. 10-9 Omigawa.
Round 3 - Nice punch lands for Young and then he misses with a head kick. Young is pushing the pace hard. Leg kick by Young. Omigawa with a left hand. Young with a combination and a knee that gets through. Omigawa with a kick and then a clinch and he gets the takedown. Omigawa drops for a leglock and Young gets to his feet. What a bad move by Omigawa there. Omigawa looking for a guillotine now and he drops to the ground with it. Young is defending but he gets pinned to the ground with only two minutes left. Young trying to stand up against the cage but Omigawa traps the leg. Omigawa going afte a kimura. Young turns it and gets on top now landing a few big punches as the round ends but I've got it 10-9 Omigawa to give him the 29-28 win.

Rob Broughton vs. Philip De Fries - Round 1 - De Fries with a really miserable reaching shot to start the fight. De Fries holding him against the cage and Broughton with a knee. No action means a restart. Left hook by Broughton and De Fries pushes him into the cage again. De Fries gets down to the ankle and gets the takedown. Broughton trying to push off the cage. Broughton turns to his knees. Easy turn to take the back by De Fries so Broughton turns and gets half guard. De Fries landing some soft arm punches and passes to side control. De Fries ends the round taking Broughton's back. 10-9 De Fries.
Round 2 - De Fries with the clinch and he gets the double leg takedown. Broughton tries to scramble, gives up his back but ends up in side control. Back to back control for De Fries and now he ges a hook in. Both hooks now. Broughton gets out, now looks for a kimura and uses that to crawl to the cage and stand up. Broughton kind of...throws himself back to the ground. Broughton with a kimura attempt uses it to sweep to top control now. Broughton dropping elbows to the body as De Fries looks for the kimura. Broughton gets mounted crucifix and he's landing a lot of punches. Broughton closes it out landing punches. 10-9 Broughton.
Round 3 - De Fries manages the takedown and is in side control. Broughton eventually tries to get to his feet but ends up giving his back. De Fries gives up the hooks and lands some small ground and pound. De Fries has mount now but ends up in north-south eventually. There's a lot of positional changes but not much else. They're stood up with 10 seconds left. Wild punch by Broughton and the round ends. I have it 29-28 De Fries. But this was a pretty bad fight.

John Maguire vs. Justin Edwards - Round 1 - Leg kick by Edwards lands a little low. Another low blow seconds later and there's a break in the action to allow Maguire to recover. Edwards with an outside leg kick now and a few punches and kick to the body. Spinning back kick to the body by Edwards lands hard and then a big right hand that drops Maguire. Edwards on top landing punches now. Maguire drives through into a takeedown but Edwards uses a guillotine threat to stand up. Maguire takes him right back down and Edwards gets guard. Edwards manages to stand back up but Maguire keeps him pinned to the cage. Takedown for Maguire. Edwards gets to his feet but Maguire lands a few knees. Edwards with a nice flurry of punches and then goes for a takedown for no reason and gives his back standing. Maguire lands a few knees after turning and now he looks or the takedown. Edwards drops for a guillotine despite having no control over the body and eats some punches for his trouble and a knee to the body. 10-9 Edwards still in my book as he came closest to finishing the fight while Maguire mostly worked takedowns.
Round 2 - Maguire clinches up with him and Edwards spins him back against the cage. Back to distance they go. Body kick by Edwards. Leg kick for Maguire lands hard. Edwards pushes him into the cage. Edwards gives up his back standing and Maguire slams him. Body triangle by Maguire. Edwards is really locked up here. Maguire can't get the choke locked in. Maguire transitions to an armbar as the round ends. 10-9 Maguire.
Round 3 - Jab by Maguire. Body kick by Maguire. Edwards with some hard punches and a kick but he really was telegraphing the strikes and allowed Maguire to get a takedown. Edwards looking for a heel hook. Maguire looking to counter witha kneebar and he can't. Edwards makes him stand back up. Spinning heel kick to the head by Edwards and Maguire locks him up and lands a series of knees. Edwards with a takedown now but Maguire reverses and is on top now. Edwards ends up giving up his back and Maguire has a body triangle again. Edwards finds a way out but just jumps into the guard of Maguire and gets swept. 10-9 Maguire.
