Did he interview him?
Because it really looks like he just made a story based on what he has said in previous interviews

no he didn't
if he had infact interviewed either vadim or fedor, he would have had many other questions to ask like, if the event was so succesful they why only two days later are you trying to get a fedor back in the ufc. why did your head of operations say that co-promotion and other crazy ideas are now off the table.
lastly this article was absolute crap.

also the 9 mil thing
has been refuted by people in the know, same as dana’s bullshit 60mil in brasil rubbish.
russian tv ratings site said 2.7 rating which equates to 2-2.5 million on first view.
Please link to concrete information.

Yes I interviewed them. Not sure how that’s confusing.

Because it doesn't look like you asked any questions.
It basically looks like they sent you some boilerplate stuff they wanted said and that is it.
An interview to me is question and answers. Where are the questions? And based on the content of the article, did they answer anything you asked? It doesn’t seem so, as I can’t imagine you wouldn’t have had MUCH better things to question them about.
From this interview we know:
Fedor fought.
Putin was there.
The show was broadcast.
Fedor has been in Holland.
Fedor might be fighting Ishii.
We knew all that before his fight with Monson or immediately afterwards, and aside from the Ishii bit none of it is interesting.
The man is an almost mytical figure and depending on who you ask a living legend. Interviews with him are rare, and that article is the best we can get? Seems shady.
Thanks for your input. I think interviewing Fedor is a huge challenge. This was my fifth try and the first time he ever answered a question with three sentences. He answers most with one sentence or one word.
I did my best.

Well, that explains it.
Sorry to bust your balls. It’s just frustrating that we can’t really get a good look at the man. All we ever get is what M-1 wants us to hear.
It has to be incredibly frustrating to you, though I understand why you have to try each time you are given the opportunity. I just hope someday you are able to bring us the man behind the M-1 mask.
It’s kind if astonishing how M1 has built such a wall around this man. It’s worked well in establishing the mystique, but all a lot of that mystique has to be credit to his success as a fighter. Now that he’s seen as beatable, the mystique is gone despite M1’s best efforts.
The one question that remains is “is Fedor in on the con?”. And more importantly, is he actually profiting from it? I just have this sinking suspicion that that after M1 uses him up, Vadim, Kogan and the rest are just going to leave him penniless and out in the cold.
While Fedor doesn’t strike me as an idiot, he doesn’t give off the air of a man who is wise in the ways of business. That could leave him as a mark.

I think Phildo was legitimately trying to be helpful.

Was there a long pause when you brought up the crowd booing Putin?
"Now you see that evil will always triumph, because good is dumb."
It was made clear they wouldn’t address that issue. I think they were as shocked as anyone.

Probably best not to touch that one
I don’t think either of them wants a ricin pellet in the leg.
