UFC welterweight Josh Koscheck did a Q&A last week and answered questions for close to an hour. Kos is a pretty honest guy, and some of his responses were pretty funny and direct. As with any discussion involving AKA welterweights, the topic of teammates fighting teammates came up. Specifically, Koscheck fighting Jon Fitch. And Kos gave his most direct answer yet regarding the topic:
"Me and Jon Fitch have been training together for eight years. We fight every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. You want to see it. Come to the gym and you won’t even have to pay $55. No chance, not even for the title. It’s not worth it to me. I’d rather step away from the sport than fight Jon Fitch, how’s that?"
He also talks about how much he wanted to fight Wanderlei Silva at UFC 139, what led to the sucker punch by Paul Daley at UFC 113, possibly fighting Georges St. Pierre for a third time, and much more. It's actually a really informative "interview" and Kos comes off rather well. You can check out the whole thing after the jump.
