As a follow-up to the earlier article about Antonio Margarito's New York licensing status for his December 3 rematch with Miguel Cotto, the state just handed down the determination that Margarito has been granted his license. The fight will go on as scheduled at Madison Square Garden.

its scary what pac did to him, or rather his corner
Its turbo time!
Yall are missing the big picture!
New York will license a man that blatantly cheated and could have potentially killed a man with said act. BUT they will not sanction MMA in NY?!?! I hope the UFC wins there lawsuit so badly!!! New York doesn’t deserve to have MMA come their. It’s not the people’s fault but the city itself doesn’t deserve to make the easy money that it would from sanctioning MMA.
This is completely off base. The time to ban Margarito for the plaster is over. If NY was going to keep him out for that incident, they would have done it months ago, this is a medical issue.
You are also comparing 2 different sets of people. MMA is illegal in NY because of the State Assembly, the commission can’t sanction somethign that’s illegal. I’m not sure, but I’m pretty sure the current head of the commission in NY has said that they would support mma when legalized.
life bans
should never be lifted

but he isn’t, and this has nothing to do with his bad behavior in the past. If NY denied him they would just move the fight and fuck over the people who made plans to go to this fight, those would be the only people screwed. Margarito would probably be better off because he wouldn’t have to pay NY taxes. If NY was going to make a stand about the plaster, they should have done it months ago. It sucks that he gets to fight, but there’s nothing anyone can do now.
I hope Cotto breaks this cheating fucks face.
AGAIN.

I should have said "get" his face broken again.
As in what Pac did to Margacheato.
Either way, I just want to see that cheating bastard get what he deserves. For the record I rarely hate fighters, but Margarito’s incredulous attitude has earned my loathing. Motherfuck that guy.

He's a real piece
Sadly I think the fight will turn out mostly the same way unless Cotto does something different than he usually does.
