He left Xtreme Coture?

Anyone know where he’s training now?

Hmmm

Interesting… AKA seems like a good place for him

If anything, they will refine his striking.

Sucks that he had so many dang issues leading to his second title fight with Edgar but shit happens.

How many champions have come out of Xtreme Couture in recent years?

I’m not hating on the camp at all…but off the top of my head…they seem to be a ‘very good, not great’ type of camp.

Well, no one camp has a large majority of champions.

by discoandherpes on Nov 22, 2011 9:26 PM EST up reply actions

Not anymore

Miletich Fighting Systems back in the day was known as the best for the champions it was producing (esp. Matt Hughes). Greg Jackson’s, xtreme couture and AKA have all had levels of success with champions.

It’s all cyclical because a lot of camps are in flux with new guys coming in and veterans leaving.

I think a more pertinent question a fighter needs to ask himself before choosing a camp is “how much of their time can they dedicate to my needs?”

In that respect Xtreme Couture has got too big as a brand with the public being able to sign up for some classes, let alone the number of fighters it’s attracted.
