Miguel Torres won a dominant decision at Ufc 139, and after looking overly cautious in his past few fights, he is starting to look like his old champion self again. Here are four promising fights for Torres's return to the Octagon.
Michael McDonald: McDonald is coming off of a knockout win fighting at UFC139, and since neither fighter sustained much damage in their respective fights, this bout would be the best in terms of timing. Both of these fighters like to put on exciting fights, and this bout would likely take home FOTN honors.
Ivan Menjivar: Menjivar is coming off a unanimous decision win over Nick Pace and the winner of this fight would likely be a win or two away from a title shot and possibly prove that they are in the top five of their division.
Scott Jorgensen: Jorgensen has won his past two fights, and both him and Torres are WEC vets and recognizable faces in the bantamweight division. This fight would be marketable enough for the UFC to put on the main card.
Alex Caceres: " Bruce Leroi" recently made his debut in the bantamweight division with dominant decision over Cole Escovedo. Caceres's weakness has always been his jiu-jitsu, and Torres is a black belt under Carlson Gracie and has twenty-three wins by submission, making this a good match up for Torres, although it is a huge step up in competition for Caceres.
