Hello BE grappling community,
Here are a couple of videos from the Fight to Win tournament last weekend here in Denver. I ended up having three no-gi matches and four gi matches. A little about me:
-Been training BJJ for 3 years, wrestling for two months
-Blue belt
Video, as they say, after the jump.
I'm in the red top.
My 2nd match did not go nearly as well, as I got choked out (and I do mean out) from top half guard by the eventual division champion. No video, sorry.
Below is the bronze medal match, where I dislocate my finger. Probably should've pulled guard on the guy, but I wanted to try out my wrestling.
I did my gi matches after this and went 3-1, taking the bronze, which I was satisfied with, given the injury. For some reason, I was much more relaxed during my gi matches. Unfortunately, I have no videos of those matches. Feel free to critique, even though there's not much to see.
On a side note, I know a lot of us train or have thought about training, so it would be cool to see a more steady stream of grappling videos on here, rather than the one or two per month we currently see.
Thanks for looking!
