Matt Brown took on Seth Baczynski in the second fight of UFC 139. It was Baczynski's third fight in the UFC and Brown's tenth. Early in the fight Baczynski was establishing the control of the pace by constantly pushing Brown against the cage and using dirty boxing in close. Brown would retaliate with knees to the body that had pinpoint placement. Seth was able to get Brown to the ground but was unable to do any damage. Brown utilized a beautiful sweep to get top position before allowing Baczynski to his feet. The first round ended with Seth firing off punches with Matt Brown's back against the fence.
The second round was over almost as soon as it started. Seth Baczynski set up a beautiful arm-in guillotine and then quickly transitioned to a no-arm guillotine. Despite his best efforts to escape, Brown was forced to tap just 42 seconds into the round.
Seth Baczynski improves his UFC record to 2-1 with this big win over Matt Brown. Brown drops to 5-5 with this submission loss.
