UFC 139: Shogun vs. Henderson - Live Results and Play-By-Play for PPV Broadcast

As with every major show, Bloody Elbow will be here to bring you live results, play by play and commentary for UFC 139: Shogun vs. Henderson. Our live coverage will start with the beginning of the Facebook prelim stream (6 p.m. ET), continuing through the Spike TV prelim broadcast (8 p.m. ET) and finally through the pay-per-view broadcast (9 p.m. ET) so make sure to make Bloody Elbow your home for this event.

The card is headlined by a very exciting light heavyweight bout between Mauricio "Shogun" Rua and Dan Henderson. Wanderlei Silva takes on Cung Le in a bout between two great strikers. Former WEC featherweight champ Urijah Faber faces former WEC bantamweight champ Brian Bowles. Rounding out the card is Martin Kampmann against Rick Story and Stephan Bonnar squaring off with Kyle Kingsbury.

Stephan Bonnar vs. Kyle Kingsbury - Round 1 - Bonnar charges to the center of the Octagon. Kingsbury with a leg kick. Bonnar is throwing. Left hook gets in for Kingsbury. They trade knees in the clinch. Bonnar separates after eating a few knees and lands a few punches. Bonnar catches Kingsbury with a right. Accidental low blow by Bonnar and they get a break. Leg kick by Bonnar again. Left hand by Kingsbury gets in. Bonnar with a knee to the body. Bonnar with a left elbow and Kingsbury pushes him into the cage. Bonnar tries for a throw and can't get it. They're trading and Bonnar is tagging him briefly. This is a really good fight. Knee to the head by Bonnar. Kingsbury isn't looking completely comfortable with having to deal with a really dirty fight like this. Bonnar with a takedown. He passes to side control. Pass to full mount now. Bonnar opening up and Bonnar finishes up with some nice punches before the round ends. 10-9 Bonnar.

Round 2 - Kingsbury flashes a head kick that misses. Bonnar with a right and a head kick. Bonnar has his back standing and now gets the takedown. Bonnar into side control now. Bonnar working his punches and just controling Kingsbury. Bonnar working the punches from side control and now is looking for the crucifix. Bonnar looking to tie up the neck and move to mount. Can't quite get it though and now Bonnar is on top in the half guard. Bonnar looking for the arm triangle but couldn't finish. Bonnar flurries to end the round. 10-9 Bonnar again.

Round 3 - They trade jabs and then Bonnar lands to the body with a kick. Bonnar with a clinch, takes the back standing and now drags him to the ground. Kingsbury turns and has Bonnar in his half guard now. Bonnar passes to side control. Bonnar was briefly looking for a north-south choke but couldn't sink it. Bonnar just working punches and elbows. Bonnar working punches to the body and now looking for a kimura. Kingsbury gets pounded on for the end of the round and Kingsbury had nothing for him. 10-9 Bonnar.

Official Scorecards: 30-27, 30-25, 30-27. Stephan Bonnar wins by unanimous decision.

Martin Kampmann vs. Rick Story - Round 1 - Story being wide with his punches, trying to get inside. Kampmann slides to the side and counters. Story throwing hard and a big left hurts Kampmann briefly. Head kick blocked by Story. Story cut over his right eye now. Kampmann getting a little more comfortable now but Story digs to the body and then the head. Nice two punches from Kampmann backs Story off a bit. Short right gets in for Kampmann. Body shot by Story again. The pace is slowing down and they're at more of a distance which benefits Martin here. Right hand by Kampmann. Story is trying to keep him against the cage but Kampmann circles out. Straight left gets in for Story. Shots for Story get in to the body and head. Body shots by Story again. 10-9 Story.

Round 2 - They exchange right away with each man getting a right hand in. Kampmann landing a few nice right hands now. Another right hand gets in. Kampmann made the adjustment to start getting that straight right in and now Story has to make his own adjustment. Kampmann using the right hand to counter now himself. Story goes to the body. Kampmann clinches and then gets a takedown off a trip. Kampmann came very close to locking in an arm triangle. Kampmann really fighting for the arm triangle. Round ends. 10-9 Kampmann.

Round 3 - Kampmann with a right hand but Story pushes him into the cage. Huge body shot by Story. Kampmann looking for the takedown against the cage now. Kampmann gets it briefly, Story pops up though and now Kampmann has his back standing. Story able to turn out and land a right hand. Knee misses by an inch for Kampmann. Story landing some nice punches now. Right hand by Story again. Story briefly had a takedown but Kampmann worked his way up using the fence. Now Kampmann has him against the cage. Kampmann takes the back standing again. Kampmann tries for a suplex but Story never goes down fully. Story turns now. Story working the body again. Kampmann tries for a trip, can't get it. Story charges forward, gets the takedown but Kampmann stands up. Kampmann has the back standing again and now drags him down. Kampmann looking for the triangle. Kampmann can't finish before the round ends but he should win the round 10-9 and the fight 29-28.

Official Decision: 29-28 Story, 30-27 Kampmann, 29-28 Kampmann. Martin Kampmann wins by split decision.

Urijah Faber vs. Brian Bowles - Round 1 - Faber trying to get inside and Bowles looking to time the right hand. Faber to the body with a jab. They trade jabs. Leg kick by Faber. Right hand by Bowles, return flurry by Faber that scores better. Right hand by Bowles again. Left hook by Bowles but a better right hand by Faber. Body shot by Faber and he looks good early. Faber with a really sharp combination of punches. Faber is really sitting down on his punches here but he's throwing three punches at a time. Bowles going to the body with both hands now. Really nice right to the body by Bowles. Faber shoots in and Bowles almost locks up a guillotine but lets it go. Nice elbow by Faber. Faber standing over Bowles and Bowles lands and upkick. Faber dives in with a punch and the round ends. 10-9 Faber.

Round 2 - Big uppercut by Faber hurts Bowles. Now a big knee and Bowles is badly hurt. Bowles is trying to survive. Faber looking for a guillotine. He lands a knee to the body. Now locks up another guillotine and flips to mount with it and there's no choice for Bowles but to tap out. Urijah Faber wins by submission (mounted guillotine choke), 1:27 of round 2.

Wanderlei Silva vs. Cung Le - Round 1 - Le comes forward with a side kick that is short. Silva circling outside. Le with a right hand and he's out before Silva can throw. Right hand by Silva catches Le and sends him stumbling. Silva with a few more punches and then backs off. Spinning backfist by Cung stings Silva a bit. Spinning hook kick misses for Le. Kick from Le is blocked. Backfist by Le hurts Silva. Le throws a wheel kick that misses. Silva trying to land but he's getting tagged still. Silva has to stop playing around outside. Silva with a left hand inside. A few punches by Silva again. Body kick by Le. Spinning wheel kick by Le almost lands. Le bleeding from above the right eye. Silva charges in and lands a few right hands. Side kick to the body by Le. Body kick by Silva. And a leg kick. Head kick by Silva and he throws some punches. Wanderlei is getting really aggressive. Right hand by Silva. Silva pouring it on a lot here late in the round. I'd actually give it to Silva for more effective damaging offense.

Round 2 - Silva throws a crazy wild right hand and slips to the ground. Side kick to the body by Le. Leg kick by Silva. Big right hand by Le and a body kick. Right hand by Silva. Le with a body kick again. Left hand for Silva. Two big shots by Silva land hard. Leg kick by Le lands. Silva starting to throw his punches a bit more now. Silva charges in with a combo and he tags Le. Silva with a flurry of punches. Big knee now and a head kick. Le goes down! Le survives but he's eating knees to the head. Silva pouring it on, Le drops again, now looking for a takedown. A few hammerfists and the ref jumps in for the stoppage. Wanderlei Silva wins by TKO (strikes), 4:49 of Round 2.

Mauricio "Shogun" Rua vs. Dan Henderson - Round 1 - Leg kick by Shogun lands. Right hand from Shogun just misses. Big right hand by Henderson and Shogun is forced to try or a takedown. Henderson tries for a choke but when he can't finish it he opens up with big punches. Shogun is bleeding heavily. Shogun with a leaping knee and a 1-2 from Henderson. Slashing elbow by Shogun. Henderson just misses with a right hand. Right hand by Shogun lands slightly behind the head but it hurts Henderson. Shogun tries to pounce and Henderson manages to survive although did get hit. Right hand by Henderson as he gets up. Right hand by Henderson again. Shogun pushes forward and Henderson knees to the body a few times. 10-9 round for Henderson.

Round 2 - Jab by both men. Shogun pumping the jab and now he pushes Henderson into the cage. Shogun with an elbow and Henderson with a flurry of punches. Big right hand by Henderson. Now an uppercut and a huge left to the body. Shogun lands one punch but Henderson was tagging him. Henderson looking for the right hand still. Shogun with a nice flurry and now Henderson comes back with some shots of his own. Shogun trying to walk forward with punches and he holds Henderson against the cage again. They're opening up with big shots and Henderson lands hard. 10-9 round for Henderson again.

Round 3 - Shogun looked tired at the end of round 2 and he throws some punches a little wider than normal to start this round. Henderson lands a few hard punches and backs Shogun into the cage. Henderson with some nice punches and Rua lands a hard shot. Now a kick and Henderson has to back off a bit. Henderson tried for the takedown but couldn't finish it. Huge right by Henderson and Rua is down. Henderson is absolutely tagging Rua in the head but Shogun is suriving somehow. Shogun tries to attack a leg now. Both men are exhausted and Shogun gets to the feet. Shogun's face is swollen badly and pouring blood. It's incredible that Shogun is still awake. Henderson with a furry of huge elbows. Shogun with a takedown now and he opens up with a flurry of left hands. Henderson works back to his feet. Big elbow by Shogun and henderson fires back. 10-9 Henderson again but Shogun is a MAN.

Round 4 - Shogun shoots for a single leg and he gets it. Now Henderson stands but he eats big shots from Shogun. Now Shogun goes for a takedown again but Henderson has a crucifix and he tries to mount but Shogun attacks a leg and they're back to standing. Henderson drives through with a takedown into side control. Shogun gets half guard. Henderson trying for a choke but he has to give it up. Right hand from the top by Henderson. Big punches by Henderson and now knees to the body. They're standing now and Shogun with an uppercut. Both men are tired and beat up but they're still fighting. Jab by Henderson. Uppercut by Shogun and some follow up shots. Henderson is hurt badly!Henderson looks for a takedown, Shogun gets out and tags him. Now Henderson with a big right hand. Shogun firing back and Henderson is exhausted. Shogun with a takedown. Shogun into mount. Shogun landing punches. Shogun takes the back, Henderson turns and is on top. This is insanity. This fight is insane. 10-9 Shogun.

Round 5 - Henderson looks to be the much more tired man now. Shogun gets the takedown and is in side control. Knee to the body by Shogun. Shogun slides to full mount and he is opening up. Henderson throwing punches up at him. But Henderson is landing big punches. Henderson ties him up now. Shogun posrures up and throwing punches again. Henderson gets him out of mount and is trying to hold on. Back to full mount goes Shogun. He's throwing again. Henderson gives up his back. Shogun could have gone for an arm triangle but couldn't do it. Shogun still in the mount. Rua throwing punches and hitting the back of Dan's head. Shogun in half guard again, and now back to full mount. Shogun really working hard here. Clear 10-8 round so far. Back to mount. 10-8 Shogun makes this 47-47 a draw on my card.

Official Scorecards: 48-47 across the board. Dan Henderson wins by unanimous decision.

Somehow no judge gave Shogun round 5 10-8. Incredible.

We'll have MUCH more on this fight in the coming hours and days. It was a great moment for MMA.
