This.
Seriously, I sorta expected it from Dana but not from Javier. Can’t he just say “Cain was doing well in the first minute of the fight, he hit JDS with a few leg kicks, he tried for a single leg before he got caught. Next time, we’ll work to stop that from happening.” I’m a huge JDS fan but all of this Cain bashing is getting out of control.

I'm not surprised though
It seemed like eveyone and their mother…at least to any fighters and personalities within the business…were all siding with Cain as the safe pick, primarily because of his wrestling.
The time he shot amounted to nothing and he was utterly blitzed…people who were pulling for him or expected him to dominate are likely frustrated.

I think if anything Cain was a little to loose with his hands he seemed very eager to counter every punch, and he got caught over his counter. Its hard to implement your whole game plan in under a minute and as for Dana if you just go out there trying to shoot with out setting it up you’d end up with a similar result to the one they got. I think patience and defense waiting for Dos Santos to get a little over aggressive would have made for better opportunities to get take-downs. Cain will be back sooner rather then later
