BAMMA, HDNet Announce Multi-Year Partnership, December Kickoff
On Monday's edition of Inside MMA, it was announced that HDNet has signed a multi-year agreement with European-based BAMMA with the first event in the deal set to air in mid-December.
BAMMA (short for British Association of Mixed Martial Arts) debuted in the summer of 2009 and has put on seven events in England since then with various free agent talent from around the world. The company recently made news by signing former UFC welterweight contender Nate Marquardt, who will debut in February 2012 against Yoshiyuki Yoshida.
HDNet will air BAMMA 8 live from Nottingham, England, on Saturday, December 10, featuring Jim Wallhead vs. Joey Villasenor and former UFC/TUF competitor Andre Winner vs. Diego Gonzales. The event will also feature Jimi Manuwa vs. Antony Rea and Jack Marshman vs. Lee Barnes. Earlier this year, Manuwa was ranked third in BE's World MMA Scouting Report at 205 pounds.
BAMMA is the latest MMA addition to a growing roster for HDNet which already included several Strikeforce prelims events, ProElite, Titan Fighting Championships, DREAM, Maximum Fighting Championship, K-1, King Of The Cage and more. They also have been working with the UFC since September 2010 and will be one of the outlets airing the UFC 139 Countdown special this week.

Time Warner is fucking up lately
They change Fuel so that it’s not part of my plan anymore right before UFC on Fox and they still won’t give us HDNET.
Fuckers.
I am so, so, so happy I just changed providers
Just called yesterday to change from Comcast to DirectTV. I now get Fuel and HDNet, two channels I’ve long done without. Needless to say, I’m very happy. You know you’re a huge MMA fan when you make cable provider changes almost exclusively based on MMA content.
Fight Rankings - I don't know more about MMA than you, but I'll certainly pretend that I do.

Also on Google+...so, whatever. I don't know. Circle me?

Really, if you’re an MMA fan, DirectTV, U-Verse and Fios are your only options. Local cable just doesn’t provide the choices.

HDNet is easier to stream so... ...y'know...

Oh awesome
another reason to hate Comcast.
