I don’t think it will do very well in ratings. Not to be a debbie downer, but I doubt it will do more than 5 million viewers.

I think 4 million is the low end of a reasonable expectation while 8 is on the high end. It’ll probably fall somewhere around 5-6 million.

UFC 89 on tape delay

Peaked at 3.4 million viewers.

UFC 120 and 122 averaged 1.9 and 2.2 million with the largely unadvertised UFC 138 averaging 1.8 million. UFC Fight Nights have generally drawn similar numbers lately.

A completely uneducated guess would be that around 3 million hardcore and casual fans tune in with around the same number being new viewers. I really can’t see it doing 10 million as some have predicted but I really do hope it does well.

I think it is funny that we hoping one of the biggest Heavyweight fights ever in the UFC will beat the ratings set by Kimbo Slice and James Thompson.
