UFC 138 took another hit to the main card today when British lightweight Paul Taylor was forced off the card with an injury. He was removed from the card due to whiplash suffered in a recent car accident  It was too late to replace him, so his opponent Anthony Njokuani has been removed from the card as well. Njokuani tweeted about it earlier today:

I won't be fighting @ufc this weekend due to my opponent getting injured. I hope that it isn't a major injury and my prayers go out to him.

This is the third scheduled fight of Taylor's career that he has been forced out of, and the second within a week of the fight. He was expected to make his lightweight debut at UFC 112 but was removed from the card at the last minute after not being medically cleared due to complications with the weight cut.

In place of that fight, the light heavyweight battle between Cyrille Diabate and Anthony Perosh has been moved up to the main card.
