There's been a middleweight shake-up on the UFC 137 card scheduled for October 29th in Las Vegas, as Tim Credeur has pulled out of his fight against Brad Tavares with an injury, and will be replaced by UFC newcomer, Dustin Jacoby. The UFC announced the change a few days ago:
The UFC 137 fight card has undergone yet one more revision with Tim Credeur being forced to withdraw due to injury, UFC president Dana White announced today.
His opponent Brad Tavares will instead face UFC newcomer Dustin Jacoby, a 6-0 middleweight out of Springfield, Illinois.
Jacoby trains at the HIT Squad, formerly run by Matt Hughes, and now under the guidance of St. Louis-area MMA pioneer, Jesse Finney, although Jacoby's main trainer is Marc Fiore, a longtime Hughes associate. The 23 year-old Illinois native brings an undefeated 6-0 record into his Octagon debut.
