A very solid, if brief, breakdown of this fight

I think you should have touched on Diaz’s body strikes in the striking section. Hard hooks to the body devastated Daley in their fight, and one lead to the eventual finish. Also, Diaz has gotten particularly good at mixing in power strikes with his volume punching style.

I’m as big a Penn fan as you are of Diaz, so I’m pulling for him, but I think Diaz’s relentless pace could pose problems standing or in the clinch because Nick won’t be fight for that takedown. But if Penn fights smart and mixes in some wrestling and takedowns, he might be able to make Diaz hesitant on the feet.
