Chael Sonnen and Demian Maia are both coming off wins. Anderson wants Sonnen to get back in line to get anoher shot. What better way to prove Sonnen is ready to dethrone Silva than having him avenge his loss to Demian Maia?
I'd like to see the Superbowl challenge happen as much as anyone, but if the P4P best fighter in the UFC wants delay, he probably will, and ther ins't anything to do about it, beyond building up the next challenger with one more fight.
If Sonnen can "swing the hammer" on Maia without getting triangled, Silva would have to take the fight. If Chael gets submitted, we lose the rematch, but probably secure at least one superfight, since no one else at MW has anything to offer the Champ.
