Because Bellator is a much better source of talent and minor league organization than strike force ever was.

what's a thomstone?
haha
Liddell: 'I'll fight anyone, Silva? Yeah sure, Quinton Jackson? Sure, Randy Couture? Sure'
Reporter: 'What about Fedor Emelianenko?'
Liddell: 'Well if I'll have to...I'll fight him...if I have to'
If you
read all of the comments on MMANation about this article, they’re the polar opposite of the comments here. In a nutshell, they’re saying that Bellator will be on the tombstone by 2013. According to Jordan Breen, Bellator is losing money by the boat load. Not sure how he knows that but IMO, Bellator has to be gone before I can officially call them dead.

If they are losing money then it would just make sense to let them declare bancrupcy then just pick up the fighters than buy a business that isn’t making money.

that’s probably why Dana hasn’t jumped on them yet. But if he can get it for cheap, he’ll buy the whole lot & then cut the chaff once the contracts run out.

Bellator's been losing money from day 1
they’ve had a long term plan and have mostly met their goals from what I can tell but they need to position themselves to do a major pay-per-view within the next 18 months or they’re just never going to make money. Unless they get a super sweet deal from Spike TV.

I don’t know how long Bellator will be around, but I hope it’s for a long time. I like the fact that all their shows are shown for free on TV and that the tickets for their events are reasonably priced.
I saw their first show at Casino Rama, and have tickets to see their next show on November 12. It’s not the UFC, but it’s still a quality production with quality fights and tickets don’t cost $300+.
In the end, all your friends and family let you down and you die in your own arms, so who cares?
