Spectacular elbow strike. I don’t think either Trigg or Schiavello saw that it was an elbow during the live call. Demarce must not have seen it coming.
I’m not sure where I saw it, but it was pointed out to me that Lynn throws a tester elbow at about the 3:30 mark just to make sure that it would work before using it try to decapitate Demarce. Pretty cool illustration of a fighter thinking his way through a fight.

There wasn’t anything really special about that KO. If it’s not something flashy, might as well pick one with highly ranked fighters. We get both with Silva-Belfort, so this doesn’t come close, IMO.

Did you see that it was a standing elbow?
The only other standing elbow KO I’ve seen was the Silva/Fryklund one and that was a different strike….so I’m liking this one. Probably not KO of the year, but definitley in the discussion!
