This is kind of good and bad for Mirko. Sonnen “works” people, and he generally wants people to believe that he’s a certain way and wants a reaction from people. Mirko, in a sense, got “worked.” I thought that what Mirko said about Sonnen was funny, but at the same time, he got “worked” by Sonnen as well.

Sonnen would rape him in the cage. Yes, rape. Good Cro, bad Cro, overwhelming Cro, underwhelming Cro, doesn’t matter. It’d be a three round smothering. If Anderson’s strikes couldn’t deter Chael (broken rib or not), there’s not a damn thing CroCop could do to deter him. His takedown defense is good, but vs. Sonnen I believe it’d seem flawed beyond repair. Far be it from me to say its impossible, but I see CroCop losing 95% of the time.
I’m also a PRIDENEVERDIE guy, so don’t gimme that shit either. Wannafightaboutit?!?!

Mirko probably has a good 15-20 lbs on Chael, would stuff the vast majority of his takedowns, and would beat him up standing. Even broken to shit 2011 Mirko Crocop would beat Chael.

I'd argue that the Pope really isn't Catholic.
I see him as a smart man with a sweet, sweet gig. As far as making the world safe for pedophiles, he’s sort of an anti-Chris Hanson in that respect.
Regardless, I saw Sonnen make Brian Stann, one of the supposed strongest fighters in any weight class, look like he didn’t belong in the same cage. You may see Cro Cop stuffing takedowns and shoving Sonnen away, but I see Sonnen diving every time Cro Cop attempts any sort of legitimate strike, eventually getting him against the cage and taking him down.
I’d like to see it go down, but unfortunately it’s so out of the cards it’s not even funny.

Chael does have a sort of glazed look in his eyes. Like he’s looking off in the distance to remember what the joke was that he planned the night before. He can be mildly entertaining and then also incredibly tedious. I guess it’s good to have someone out there that you don’t want to talk about, but yet talk about him anyway.
