Is it me or does Chuck sound a lot better than usual? Almost like his “brain is healing” haha. Uh-oh, hope he doesnt read this and decide it’s time for another comeback.
"Dave's a killer!!!" ..... "Dave's a mess.."
I hate to say it, but I think it's you...
He sounds punchy as hell. I hope he doesn’t fight again.
Have you ever noticed that anybody driving slower than you is an idiot, and anyone going faster than you is a maniac?

i thought he sounded punchy too
i DVR’d it and had to rewind several times to really understand some of his words.

To me he sounded a bit better. Though I have a talent for languages and NEVER have trouble understanding marble mouthed people (Toney) or foreigners ( stun gun)

I think they/he pulled the trigger on the retirement to early. sure he got tooled a couple of times. but he broke fucking Franklin’s arm for christsake. He still dangerous…
Chuck turn your back on the UCF and fight man, FIGHT MAN!!!! Go fight man, you still got fight.
While I might agree with you to an extent, there really is nothing left for Chuck to do, he has already acomplished the pinnacle of the sport gaining and successfully defending the title MULTIPLE times!
and the LHW belt is still in limbo, just goes to show you how dominant of a champion he really was.
Best part of the interview...
is @ 8:36 on part 2 where Chuck talks about when he KO’ed a young A.Overeem.
They should have gave him Coleman or Matyushenko once his run was over
It’s not like Liddell was beating many Strikers in the UFC during his run anyway.

You can tell that Straka still has issues with Chuck yelling at him about Anderson. Get over it dude. He brought it up at least 3 times during that interview. He also came off as a bit too star struck, but otherwise that was reasonably entertaining.
I did get a chuckle at thinking about being an employee under Chuck as the vice president of Biz Dev.
“Could you repeat that one more time, your voice sounded kind of muffled”
What did Chuck say to him about Anderson? I can’t find anything on it

THey talk about it at the end of part 2. Basically at the post presser for Anderson/Leites, the fight was a total stinker, with Leites flinging himself to the ground and Anderson dancing around a lot making like he was going to throw a punch but then not doing it.
I don’t know what fight LIddell was watching, but Leites wasn’t falling down the whole fight, Anderson had entire rounds to throw the sink at him and he instead did side kicks and jabs to his thighs and behind the calf soccer trick kicks to his ankles. The entire time you wondered if Anderson was going to finish him or just dance around in front of him.
Some of it goes to Leites, but Anderson just didn’t seem to want to fight.
Oh yeah, so Straka asked Anderson “did you have a mental block in terms of trying to finish off Leites?” A totally legit question, and LIddell jumped in and said “HE WAS TRYING TO FINISH HIM THE WHOLE TIME! LEITES KEPT FALLING OVER EVERY TIME HE WENT IN TO STRIKE!”
Which was true for some of the fight, but certainly not the entire 5 rounds.
@ Dooda
I’ve enjoyed most of these Fighting Words shows by Straka, but if you want to see really “star struck” check out his interview with Randy Couture. Complete brown nose, ass kissing job.
However, the interview with Dana, Coker, Clay Guida, Josh Thompson, etc were all very enjoyable and informative.
