As soon as they announced this fight I said wow, these 2 guys are a good matchup.
They remind me alot of each other,
Griffin needs to CONVINCINGLY win a fight
BUT…..cause of Grifin/Bonner pretty much saving the company, I don’t think he’ll be let go anytime soon. That being said, I’m just gonna sit back and enjoy this fight cause I’m witha few people that say that they don’t know who to root for.
They made a video game about Yakuzas. It’s called Yakuza. And it’s about Yakuza
are you serious?
Griffin has beaten 2 former lhw champs and the current champ.. He’s a borderline top 5 lhw. The griffin/ bonnar fight is only saving bonnar, griffin is a legitimate talent. He has nasty kickboxing and just got his black belt. I’m going with him against Ace because of his length, i think that’ll be the deciding factor.

I dunno. I think Matt Hammel would beat Griffin up pretty badly, and he isn’t near top 5. We’ll see in the next couple years, but I really don’t think Griffin’s heart is in it anymore.

what makes you think his heart isn’t in it anymore?

Agreed
Also, Dana said a while back that Bonnar and Griffin are like his children and he would never cut them, no matter how big their losing streaks were. I know Dana says a lot, but he’s especially fond of Griffin. I kinda also think it doesn’t come to a massive losing streak for Forrest, he’s a very solid fighter, and remember, save for Tito he’s been fighting the best for years now. If he racks up a couple of losses, they’ll just give him an easy opponent.
awesome track
during the interview. really fits this fight.
this is probably gonna be a real good fight, can’t wait.
Me too… Me too… If only Randy could pull off the impossible and beat Machida, then we could have the Franklin vs. Couture fight that was rumored for UFC 115…
Fitch's only fan. It's lonely, being me.
I think Franklin is a step down from Machida
I would think they’d be putting Randy up for the title if he beat Machida. He only has so many fights left in him. Don’t think they’d waste one of them on a contender fight.

not necessarily in that order

For some reason I have a feeling Forrest is about to have a Liddell like slide
I think we’re going to start seeing the years of abuse and the brawls he had catch up to him

I think Franklin will win and I'm more of a fan of his
But I really want Shogun and/or Rampage to avenge their losses to Forrest, so he’d need to win here in order to get close to either of those happening.
