Maybe some McKee rubbed off on him during the fight

and its working.

Talking smack works outside the fight game too it seems.

I keep forgetting how much of a hard-on the general public has for shit talkers.

All modern late-night talk show hosts are a pale imitation of Johnny Carson.

You can’t compare guys to Johnny Carson. He set the bar and dude is in a different category. you gotta go in a different direction post-Carson

everyone forgets

Carson had bad days and not-funny bits as much as anyone else. He just seems more epic because his legacy has been reduced to the highlights that are good enough to get replayed.

Hilarious scottish bloke, has had a late late night talk show for awhile

His humor on the show just strikes a chord in me. He’s style is similar to old Conan, but not as…uhm…forced. He just seems more comfortable with his shtick. Very silly at times, usually dirty, often self deprecating, but also very keen. Very very strange at times as well. For instance, over this holiday season he had a robotic skeleton dressed up as santa that could spit out a few phrases and they would be laced into the show as another “character”. He also had a pair of dried kangaroo balls someone gave him as a present that he used in various ways.

Don’t watch his show that often but his stand up is great.

Leno's AfterEffects artists are better than you realize.

there is the original shot, footage of Obama, and footage of two actors doing the new physical stuff. Obama’s head was grafted on another person’s body.

so this wasnt realy obama?

by fnx99 on Jan 8, 2011 5:56 AM EST up reply actions

The composite was made of four elements

1. Original footage of the real Volkmann interview
2. An actor playing Volkmann’s new body footage (getting shoved over and bounced off the wall
3. An actor playing Obama’s body (walks up, shoves Volkmann, adjusts jacket and tie)
4. Obama’s head from found footage (where he smiles and winks). Possibly a press conference or photo op.

It’s really tight CG work. Very well done. Great lighting and color matching.

All done using After Effects, the Photoshop of video work: http://www.adobe.com/products/aftereffects/motion_graphics/
