Oh snap.
This match intrigues me even more now.
How can this card get any more awesome? Hope the Cowboy has been training, I can see him beating Kelly.

Nice
Not quite Miller, but a win over Kelly would be a nice way to begin his climb up

Except
I’m pretty sure the UFC is building Ellenberger up to the the next new threat to GSP. Emphasis on new, since BJ and Fitch would be repeats. So as long as he continues winning, he’ll be put on the main card to build the narrative and get eyes on him.
How do you build up a threat to GSP that can’t fight more than 8 minutes?

Cerrone did himself some good here by taking this fight on short notice because it’s been reported that UFC brass favors those that step up like this. Also, it’s a winnable fight for Cerrone, and a good first fight into the UFC in that it’s not against one of the higher-level UFC Lightweights. I wonder if Cole Miller will be watching this fight closely.
I won't jump off the bandwagon just because you lost.
Completely agree
This was a very smart move on Cerrone’s part. It seems like he’s ready to really push himself into the UFC and start entrenching himself.
