The Showtime broadcast is live, first fight up shortly.

Trevor Prangley vs. Roger Gracie - Round 1 - Josh Rosenthal is the ref for the first fight of the evening. Gracie wearing blank black shorts while Prangley is covered in sponsors. Prangley leaps in with a right hand for the first shot to land in the fight. Gracie is pushing his jab out but he's got no pop on it at this point. Jab finally lands for Gracie and now he charges and pushes Prangley into the cage before landing a knee. Gracie gets the takedown now and has Trevor sitting up against the cage. Gracie is dominating position here and landing a few punches while trying to advance his position. Gracie manages to get into full mount and Prangley tries to use the cage to roll out but Gracie rolls with him and takes the back. Body triangle locked in for Gracie. The rear naked choke is locked in and that'll do it. Wow, very impressive showing for Gracie. Roger Gracie wins by submission (rear naked choke), round 1.

Herschel Walker vs. Scott Carson - Round 1 - Carson with a high kick attempt and Walker lands some hard shots and Carson tumbles to the ground. Walker gets on top in Carson's guard and Scott is looking to lock up a leg and Walker defends and ends up taking the back landing punches to the head. Carson tries to stand up and Walker tosses him back down. Walker still riding the back landing punches to the head and knees to the body and hamstring. Herschel continuing the assault while Carson is just covering up. Carson finally rolls and as he tries to stand up Herschel drops him with a big punch and this one is over. Herschel Walker wins by TKO (punches), round 1.

Strikeforce Middleweight Title Fight: Robbie Lawler vs. Jacare Souza (c) - Round 1 - Souza with a takedown about one minute in and quickly he moves to side control. Jacare looking to lock up an arm but switches sides instead. Jacare is just riding side control and Lawler is starting to get a little desperate to get up and almost gets caught in a guillotine but manages to get back to standing. Lawler with a knee from the clinch and Souza lands a few shots but now Lawler tags him and Jacare is stumbling around before a shot puts him down. For some reason Lawler doesn't make him stand back up, he dives into his guard. They're stood up for lack of action and Lawler lands a hard body kick before the round ends. 10-9 Lawler.

Round 2 - Doesn't take long for Jacare to get the takedown again and this time he manages to get to mount quickly. Lawler sucks a leg back in to regain half guard. Jacare landing some punches before moving to side control and now north south. Jacare continuing to throw a good amount of strikes from the top and has some welts forming on Lawler's face and a few cuts as well. Jacare was looking for a leg and now grabs an armbar but Lawler gets out. Again Jacare comes close with an armbar and Lawler rolls through to escape and end up on top with 20 seconds left. 10-9 round for Jacare.

Round 3 - Lawler looking gassed coming out of the carner and Jacare locks up the Thai clinch and lands some knees. Lawler with a few punches but Jacare throws more knees and now looking for the takedown again. Lawler defends the single leg initially so Souza drops for a double and pulls him to the ground. Jacare in Lawler's half guard. Lawler gives up his back to stand and now is on the ground and Souza has both hooks in. Body triangle locked in by Souza. Rear naked choke locked in and Robbie is forced to tap out. Jacare Souza wins by submission (rear naked choke), round 3.

Strikeforce Welterweight Championship: Nick Diaz (c) vs. Evangelista "Cyborg" Santos - Round 1 - Cyborg misses with a high kick and then a spinning kick to the knee misses. Hard low kick by Cyborg and he misses with another. Another leg kick lands hard. And another and Diaz is not liking those kicks. They start swinging and Diaz connects a few times. Nick clinches him up but they separate. Jab by Diaz and a leg kick by Cyborg. I am loving this early on. Punch by Diaz and now some leg kicks and hard punches by Cyborg. Diaz is starting to flinch at each low kick. Jabs landing again for Diaz. Cyborg with a hard right hand. Another hard right to the chin. This is awesome 2:30 in. Cyborg keeps going to the legs, Diaz keeps throwing the jab. Hard body shots and some shots to the head by Cyborg and again he lands the right. Diaz flurries and lands hard. Cyborg covers up as Diaz continues to fire punches. Diaz is landing over and over now and Cyborg is fading. Cyborg is game and he keeps firing heavy punches but Diaz is avoiding and landing big shots of his own. Cyborg is going to have to recover big time in the one minute rest period.

Round 2 - Cyborg keeps landing the leg kicks and Diaz with a nice few punches. Hard body shots by Cyborg and more leg kicks. Big uppercut by Cyborg. More of the same and it's exhausting to even try and type out the action. Big leg kicks again and Diaz is going to be hurting tomorrow. Right hand and a big uppercut by Cyborg. Diaz briefly switched stance but went right back to southpaw. Knee by Cyborg and he's starting to find a home for the right uppercut. Knee to the body by Cyborg. Takedown by Cyborg and Diaz is looking for an armbar. It's straightened out with ten seconds left in the round and Cyborg taps out. GREAT fight. Nick Diaz wins by submission (armbar), round 2.
