I like this fight. I’ve always been a big fan of Joe Daddy, hopefully he can pull this out so he doesn’t lose his job.
Still a Beer Monster.

if they kept tyson griffin after three straight
they’ll probably keep joe-daddy. what with the TUF connection and all. guess we’ll see.
Looks like they're trying to give Joe daddy a win

don't know much aout Castillo huh?
Castillo is a better wrestler and striker than Stevenson. I’d be very surprised if he won this fight.

maybe in your mind Castillo is ? A striker I can see but there is no way in my opinion his wrestling and grappling in for MMA are up to Joe Daddy’s standards. I think its very much Joe Silva trying to get Stevenson a W. That being said I think Castillo can win this fight but I am thinking Joe eather subs him or decisions Castillo.
Sweet action
Looks like by the summer we shall see how the WEC lightweights stacked up against the UFC lightweights.
Henderson vs Bocek
Shalorus vs Miller
Pettis vs Guida
Roller vs Tavares
and now Castillo vs Stevenson

Out of those 5 match-ups
I’ll take 4/5 WEC guys
Sometimes I just want to give it all up and become a handsome billionaire.
Not likely for Castillo...
he’s coming off two wins, one over a highly-touted prospect (Poirier), and a brutal KO in his last fight. There’s no shame in losing to a seasoned veteran like Joe Daddy, especially without a full training camp to prepare.

Neither is a loss likely for Castillo.
The lose probably does leave town, but that loser is Stevenson.
I like using semi-colons; they make me feel smart.
The Poirier fight was at 155. Poirier is a propect now at 145. If Castillo losses he is done for there is no room at all in the UFC’s LW devision. I also think Daddy might be gone also with a L. Castillo is your average to below average LW fighter there iw nothing special there at all.
^ you've lost your mind
if Castillo is nothing special than Joe Daddy is butt ugly. The only skill Stevenson has over Castillo is subs. Castillo is very fun to watch and the Ufc makes spots for guys like that. If Joe Daddy loses he’s gone. If Castillo loses he gets another shot. He’s not coming off a ko loss to Mac freaking Danzig.

You can think that all you like and hold that opinion but I just don’t. Alot of fans thought that maybe even with a win Castillo would not make it to the UFC when the Merger happend, Listen to Jordan Breen talk about Castillo sometime, He like me thinks there is nothing special there just your average run of a the mill LW . Stevenson will be favored in this figtht and there is a reason for that becasue he will beat Castillo I would say 8/10 times.
Exactly. I mean, if Joe loses this one, he will most likely be cut from the UFC. He really needs to fight to his strengths, which is in grappling, to win this as he made the mistake of striking with a better striker in his last fight, and Joe’s striking has always been average at best. Castillo is pretty good though, and I believe he trains with Team Alpha Male.
I won't jump off the bandwagon just because you lost.

Big step up for Castillo
I wonder if they’d let Joe Daddy go if he loses this one? They do need to cut lightweights but he’s an TUF winner with a few FotN’s to his name and he’s taking this fight on short notice, all things that the UFC tends to reward guys for.
This is a hard fight to pick.
If Stevenson comes out and tries to go strike for strike with Castillo he’s going to lose. If he can turn this into a grappling match with alot of scrambles he could get the win. I’m going to pick Joe Daddy I think he’s going to pull out the W with a good Greg Jackson game plan.

This is definitely an interesting fight.
Can’t really tell who’s the favorite.
But i’ll be rooting for the Team Alpha Male product. (Castillo)

Btw, didn't Castillo knock Kerr out when he was locked in a heel lock?
I still haven’t seen the fight

Kerr didn't really have the heel hook locked in.
He was attacking the leg for sure, but left his face completely open to getting pounded on, and since Castillo was able to maintain his balance and put weight on the leg, he was able to drop bombs without worrying about getting his knee ripped up by the leglock.
Wonder if this fight will be on the main card or prelims
I really don’t think Sakara/Natal belongs on TV.
Fire Gus "What's a screen?" Bradley.
I like both guys
met them both and theyre real nice hate to see a loser.
My only advice is, you should win. - RolloTomasi
