I’m not that great with computers. My Shockwave Flash keeps crashing, and I cannot view most videos or see a lot of pictures and gifs posted. I think the problem is shockwave, anyway. Looking at this post, where the vid should be is just a empty white box (like my soul, except its black)

I actually see Big Tim wining that fight 9/10 times. He has better hands then Barry and I think would Ko him quite easy ounce Barry gasses late in the fight. The only chance Barry has is like in all his fights and thats TKO from leg kicks.

I agree also, Like I have said a few times on hear in past post about Big Tim. I think he would be a great fit back in the UFC’s HW devision. There are still alot of great fights and winnable fights for him there. And he would be a hell of a test for most any up and coming HW propect to test there self out agasint to see where they stand in the devision.
I really also would of liked to see Strike Force add him to there HW tourney in Brett Rogers spot. I think Tim would make for a way better fight agasint Barnett then Rogers will. I have a feeling if he continues to Win we will see him back in the UFC sometime in 2011 ?
Sylvia would be a great test for someone like Mitrione or Travis Browne later on, or Schaub. He would also make interesting fights for some of the upper-tier Heavyweights. Carwin is coming off that loss from Lesnar, and Sylvia vs Carwin would be a good and credible comeback fight for Carwin. The thing with Sylvia is that he can be used in some way against any Heavyweight whether it be testing prospects or giving an upper-tier an interesting fight.

Tim Sylvia is now a “credible comeback fight” for Carwin who was destroying everyone in round 1 till he lactic-acidosised himself out? Sylvia would be good for someone like Mitrione, I agree. But the top-level HWs … I’ve seen nothing from Tim in the last months that made me think he’d be anything but cannon-fodder.
To save me some time on 25% of all threads, here's the universal answer to the Fedor-debate: Fedor is the most accomplished MMA fighter ever. That is a fact. If he still is the best fighter at this point in time is up for debate.
It’s not about his fighting style or if you think he’ll be destroyed, but more of being a “name” opponent, a former UFC Champion, and a guy that’s proven to still be around the mid-to-upper-mid-tier of the Heavyweight Division. I see Tim Sylvia vs Shane Carwin to be not that much different than Roy Nelson vs Shane Carwin, which was supposed to happen on the January 1st card.

That’s good he wants to pursue this when he’s doing fighting. I don’t get why people here are bashing him for pursuing his interest and his future when he retires. I bet his critics are most likely the same ones who want Jens Pulver to hang it up.

Could you imagine Timmy and Steven Segal rollin as partners ? They could train on off days and work on Timmys path back to the UFC and to the belt, it worked for Silva ?
