Wait, so now the weigh-ins are on Facebook too? That’s BS.. I really hope this is a one time thing and that it will be back to normal next time.

Fail on my part

He was actually 248 against Mirko. For some reason that just sounded really high for him. I thought he was a 220- 225 HW

I think each of his thighs/quads contributes 20 lbs to his overall weight, haha, Christ….

by somnium on Jan 21, 2011 5:35 PM EST up reply actions

I thought you were surprised he was so low haha.. I was expecting him to be at least 250 this time, thought he looked even bigger than usual lately. Dude is thick!

He seems to be a really good guy but he’s 0-2 in the UFC and hes lost three of his last five fights.

Yeah! Who are these three faceless women!?

Not that I condone facism or any ism for that matter. Isms are in my opinion, not good. A person shouldn't believe in an ism, he should believe in himself.

I quote John Lennon, "I don't believe in Beatles, I just believe in me". Good point there, after all he was the walrus. I could be the walrus. Wouldn't change the fact I have to bum rides off of people.

Why

Yves vs Mckenzie is on the undercard, but cole miller beating matt wiman to death in the octagon is on the main, I will never know.

looks like a damn good card for free tv though.

by ShahGaza on Jan 21, 2011 6:21 PM EST reply actions

I want to see Brown/Yahya and the debut of Chiquerim more then any other undercard fight, but Yves/Cody is decent, but Miller is doing well lately so he gets the main card spot, he could face Cowboy if he wins and Cowboy wins at 126.

BAHAHAHA

Miller is such a goofy guy.

OHHHHH! OH MY GOODNESS DID YOU SEE THAT?! He ran up the wall like a ninja and landed a high kick! Unbelievable! I've never seen anything like that, it's like something out of a movie!

Is Evan Dunham the biggest LW in the UFC?

Maybe Gleison Tibau is bigger but Dunham seems huge. I think he’d tower over Edgar.

Grey is pretty big and so is Tibau. Those three are the biggest that come to mind at least. Dunham proved he’s legit over Sherk. I think he definitely takes this fight. It’ll be a war though. I’d still like to see Florian and Dunham fight, I was really excited about that.

by budgellism on Jan 22, 2011 1:08 AM EST up reply actions

in terms of height

grey is not that big. dunham is much larger in stature.

by pmac06340 on Jan 22, 2011 11:42 AM EST up reply actions

So pumped for this card, great night of fights, but man I want to see Chiquerims debut and Brown/Yahya from the prelims.

Those are the prelims I’m looking forward to the most.

Dunham, Barry, Hominick, Meathead, Yves, Brown, Chiquerim, Yahya, Beltran, Hague, Miller, Wiman, great card and a great night of fights.

Will be sitting back with some pizza, a Sam Adams and a some smoke and chillin.

maybe a stupid question

but is that pitbulls brother…the kid from bellator?

by pmac06340 on Jan 22, 2011 11:37 AM EST up reply actions

Nope. Patricio (Bellator guy) has a brother named Patricky (also used the nickname Pitbull) who fights in Brazil. Chiquerim isn’t related to either, and has actually fought Patricky before.

For some reason I’m extremely excited for this card. I have a feeling it’s going to be a great one. We’re being ridiculously spoiled as of late and it’s only going to get better from here.

by budgellism on Jan 22, 2011 1:02 AM EST reply actions

i couldnt agree with you more

as a free card, these fights are ludi-crisp. however, i refuse to log onto facebook.

Oh man, Barry looked ready to kill. I think he rebounds nicely here.

by budgellism on Jan 22, 2011 1:17 AM EST reply actions

Edwards was supposed to fight someone else, don’t remember who but the guy got injured. So Cody stepped in on about a months notice.

by Horselover Fat on Jan 22, 2011 5:58 AM EST up reply actions

Was supposed to be Guillard/Yves, but Guillard moved up when Florian got hurt.
