Twenty times better than what the UFC comes out with.
Great work man, It looks great, this should be the official poster.

Can the UFC really not hire one of these guys?
Literally every fanmade poster I’ve ever seen is better than the UFC poster.
whoaw slow down there buddy.....
why would the UFC do something cool instead when they can just do the same photoshoot with the same standard poses while face the pain playing in the background?;)

If the round is too close, it's 10-10, NOT flip a coin 10-9 or late takedown FTW.

Looks like a buddy cop movie.
But still 10x better than what the UFC re-hashes. Fighters, names, sponsers, drink beer.
They made a video game about Yakuzas. It’s called Yakuza. And it’s about Yakuza
wait it’s nice but the advertising is shocking, the print is far too small.

this
it manages to look VERY cool, but it’s completely devoid of scannable information. This poster is really only advertising “UFC,” not the details of a particular event or time.
If it seems like everyone around you is an asshole, you are probably an asshole.
THIS POSTER IS HOT SH*T but . . .
Just like judonerd said, “this is VERY cool” but some times that can be a problem.
- Way too much negative space.
- You must clearly let everyone know that this is a UFC event.
- Who’s fighting? Who, what, where, why and how?
Excuse my emotional, reactionary, fanatic output but Pettis will be the next UFC lightweight champion. Period.

I disagree. I love the negative space. It makes the imagery so much more intense. Plus, I think he intended this poster to be aimed at the educated fan, one who already knows the answer to those questions.
I'm just a 16 year old kid who loves MMA.
I think he intended this poster to be aimed at the educated fan, one who already knows the answer to those questions.
Not typically the point of advertising, though. Personally, I need the DATE of the EVENT to be big enough to read.
If it seems like everyone around you is an asshole, you are probably an asshole.
But the poster catches your eye
if i see this on the street, I’m gonna investigate it. and as I inspect it the Names of the fighters, the event, and whats at stake all become very visible.
Ya, I could quit now and be a chump mutha fucka, but I'd rather reload and just dump mutha fucka

Honestly that just like saying, I’ll put a really hot girl on a flyer in a hot sexual pose and pay less attention to the information. People will want to see my flyer for a party because its cool and catches your eyes.
Excuse my emotional, reactionary, fanatic output but Pettis will be the next UFC lightweight champion. Period.

The red gloves reminds me of one thing I've always wanted UFC to do
When comparing StrikeForce with the UFC, UFC wins on pretty much everything, fighters, matchmaking, division depth, marketing, promos, posters, commentary, production, showing prelims etc etc etc.
But one thing I’ve always really liked that StrikeForce does is have red gloves for the red corner, and blue gloves for the blue corner.
It’s a pretty cool image that boxing and kickboxing have, the opposing glove colors….I like that StrikeForce does it, and it would be cool if the UFC did it.

Buddy Cop in the front
Love Story in the back.
I don't want to say he's dirty, but Forrest Griffin looks like directly after a workout his crotch might resemble a cajun swamp.

Please note, cool poster, hot image . . . but you immediately know it is a UFC event.
You also know that the UFC brand is far more important than the fighters.

Yeah agreed.
They’re basically insignificant. The focus is strictly Rua and Evans. The information and the other fighters take a back seat. In the end I still like the poster but it fails when it comes to communication.
