According to Tatame, José Aldo will be going to Haiti for a humanitarian mission. Manaus’ City Hall will be teaming up with the UN, the Brazilian military, who are the current peace keepers in Haiti, and the non-profit Viva Rio organization, for organizing the ‘Haitian Jorney of Sports for Peace’ (Jornada Haitiana do Esporte pela Paz). The event will take place on the 23rd of January, in Porto Principe, Haiti. The event will take big names from Brazil in the world of sports such as Antonio Pizzonia, Armando Barcellos, Flávio Canto, Natália Falavigna, footballer Fred (Frederico Chaves Guedes), and representing MMA, José Aldo, who reportedly accepted the invitation right away, and will be going to Haiti on the 20th of January.
