This is my first fanpost so I don't know if this is "adequate" to be a topic of discussion but I don't know how anyone can look at that and say "yes, all the fights will go through as planned and we will have a winner of the tournament declared"

Strikeforce is the worst at booking fights when there are no extenuating circumstances. I can look at this tournament and immediately see problems.

They don't have a schedule for even the first round of the fights, much less the later ones. They have a timetable where they want to finish the tournament in 8 months. That's wonderful, but I bet they won't even finish the second round in 8 months. I understand they can't book too far into the future due to things like injuries but still some idea of venues/events where the fights could take place would almost seem like a necessity when announcing a tournament. Booking Barnett, or god forbid Fedor and Overeem both win their first rounds, the fight the world wants to see will never get booked. They (M1 Global) want a rematch with Werdum, they don't want Fedor to have another loss before he can avenge that one, count on it. 

As amazing as this tournament would be to follow through exactly as planned, how can anyone have faith in the organization that falters at every opportunity to show strength.
