I can't stand watching Guida fight most strikers
My prediction…
1. Guida scores a takedown
2. Guida lays in Gomi’s guard
3. Guida throws some crappy elbows
4. Gomi gets up
5. Back to step one
My prediction
1.) Guida’s T-rex arms flail all over the place as Gomi hits him with clean shots over and over again.
2.) Guida is dropped and Gomi peppers him with more punches.
3.) Guida pushes him off somehow and keeps on fighting.
4.) Gomi wins by decision.

I hope you are right.
Guida is only exciting when he loses. When he is successful at imposing his game plan he is little more than a blanket. I hope Gomi can stuff his takedowns.
ummmm. Gugerty and Dos Anjos? he’s improving

He is improving, but he kinda got lucky with Dos Anjos. Even with his jaw broken, he was winning that fight.

It was 1-1 heading into the final round
Guida was on pace to win the fight based on the first 2 minutes of the 3rd round.

I second that.
Plus, Guida was just lying on top of Anjos and he happened to be nudging his jaw. I repeat, he got lucky. That fight made me a bigger Dos Anjos fan. Fighting with a broken jaw? That is something fierce.

nothing lucky about breaking a guys jaw then applying so much preassure on the jaw that he has to tap out. That fight showed once again why Clay is one of my favorite fighters to watch, because by the end of most fights the guy he’s fighting is wishing he was anywhere else but fighting him.

Lucky? you sound like Dos Anjos. who broke his jaw? oh yeah, Clay Guida did it with a sweet combo. And the tapout was because Clay realized (while he was smashing Rafa’s face into the cage) that the jaw was broken. so he pushed on the jaw, forcing the tap.

Guida's been dropped semmingly 1,000 times
He’s practically impossible to knockout.

Yeah but Tyson at no point had faced a KO artist in the UFC before Gomi
Guida should’ve been dead after the Sanchez head kick and he damn near won the fight.

He fought Bang Ludwig
Diego has never shown any one strike stopping power.
Gomi’s got the power to finish Guida, IMO. He can hurt his body, then go full Florian on his face.
I think all the years of repeated head trauma will catch up to Guida in this one. Big Nog hadn’t been finished at all, now he’s got 2 KO losses.

Guida will get KO'd when he's older
And Griffin/Ludwig wasn’t in the UFC.

Oversight.
Didn’t notice you specified in the UFC.
Leben had never been KO’d either, ya know? There’s a first time for everything.

True.
If Gomi can’t KO Guida then they need to figure out if he’s human.

Or which species of human.
My guess: Homo Habilis.

This is an exciting fight!!
A very interesting stand up battle. I am rolling with Winner, but I have underestimated Silver before.
Great fight...
Winner certainly won’t have to worry about being pinned against the cage for 15 minutes in this one.

Cain will beat Brock, I am accepting sig bets.
winner should get loser of Guillard-Stephens
"In this fight, Anderson showed he was human," Nogueira said. "He showed he could be weak. But he showed he is a fighter and he brings something from his heart. It was beautiful."

Siver already fought (and got annihilated by) Guillard.

FWIW
I don’t think Guillard is losing.

Good lord this card really is main-event heavy
I take it all back when I said 122 >120.
Really hoping Siver would fight Gomi but this will do just as fine. Someone’s getting knocked out.

Didn’t know andre winner’s fighting days dated all the way back to UFC 11..

Why are they giving Siver a guy coming off a loss? It seems like they got this fight and the Griffin-Lentz fight backwards. Wouldn’t it make more sense if Griffin got Winner and Siver faced Lentz?
Siver is the hottest of those dudes right now, so he gets favor. They’re not gonna put another exciting striker up against fence-humping Nik Lentz. Frankly, i wouldn’t be surprised if Lentz got nothing but wrestlers with some well-roundedness (like Griffin) at this point, in an attempt to get him the hell out of the UFC.
