Oh yes

between kos’s douchey attitude and gsp’s complete butchering of the english language this season is sure to produce some good laughs hilarious sound bytes
there are some good fighters on this season and i think the fights will be top notch
and to top it all off kos is going to smash gsp when it’s all over
(go ahead and disagree, i’m one of the few who thinks it’ll happen, but i’m wrong alot)

I like GSP, but I’m not so invested in him that I don’t enjoy watching the fanboy meltdowns when he loses. Ditto for Baby Jay, Fedro and their loony fans.
I never root against those guys, but I always giggle a little bit when they lose, just because of the massive entertainment that ensues online.

complete butchering?
Are you serious? Try speaking a foreign language full time to please the fans and media, and doing half as good a job as him. And to think people whine about Anderson not trying to speak English with the fans…
People speak other languages in other countries dude, deal with it. All GSP has is a funny accent, just like I would undoubtedly find your accent very amusing.

i have much respect for gsp for speaking english or at least attempting it
however to deny that his accent and mispronunciation of english words is humorous is silly.
how many times have we all heard the “i am not impressed by your per-FOR-mance” sound byte? we’ve all heard it alot and we didn’t hear it alot because it was a profound thing to say. we’ve heard it alot because the way he said it was funny.
i can speak totally decent french but i’m sure gsp would get a kick out of my butchering of the language even tho he could understand me. and i would fully expect him to get a chuckle out of it.
kinda like when wandy said something to the effect of how he couldn’t wait to fuck chuck. (meant to say fight chuck hopefully)

Yeah, too little fighting in TUF
Still psyched about this because of the coaches, and since the fights are gonna be good fun :)
This is the only one I've ever watched more than 30 minutes of,
But it would be much better with more training shots, less house BS…
Then again, I guess ratings would suck then…

Not at all
Since GSP won’t reciprocate the trash talk it won’t be as entertaining as Rashad/Rampage and otherwise the show is fucking slow to get anywhere with fights and it’s just a wash/rinse/repeat of guys whining and making excuses for poor performances.

Never going to happen.
The comeback season damn near killed the TUF franchise. Worst rated season EVER and took them six years and Kimbo Slice to finally get their ratings back up.
That just shows how far out of touch online ‘hardcore’ fans are with the casual TUF fan demographic that drives the sport.
And the Serra/Lytle fight was one of the worst I've ever seen.
Mo Johnston is what John Schneider could be in 4 years.

A normal TUF season has a bunch of young guys who are idiots and act like idiots.
And that’s good TV. The comeback season had solder guys who knew what their goals were on the show and worked toward them. They were already professional athletes.
I like using semi-colons; they make me feel smart.
The show is still important to build new “name” fighters, and I don’t really mind TUF reality tv, it has gotten more and more about the training and fighters personal lives the past few seasons, and less about hijinx in the house.
It’s still one of the better rated shows on spike, and it works as an excellent build up to the GSP v Kos PPV. I wouldn’t expect TUF to go anywhere anytime soon.
Plus hey, free fights every week, hard to bitch about that.

Cody McKenzie
11-0, nine consecutive wins by guillotine.
Supposedly he has a funky grip and setup for his guillotine that people aren’t used to seeing. Kind of Jason Von Flue with the shoulder choke. Doesn’t look like much of an athlete, but it should be fun to see him surprise a few guys with that guillotine.
Good stuff!
Just read up on him.
Says that he had a decision in his first amateur fight that was controversial and from then on— decided NEVER to let a match go there.
Looks good in the training videos online. Lotta buzz around him

This'll be fun to watch
I have this feeling that Kos’ team wins most of the fights and it’ll just add more fuel to the fire.
Plus, there are a lot of good lw’s this season. Should be good fights.

Gsp will win this but I’m hoping it’s by counter ko. Kos hopefully gets over confident of his one weapon standing his overhand right and gsp hopefully knocks him out with a counter uppercut.

TUF is the American Idol of sports reality TV
Season 5 is when the show peaked in terms of talent and now they’re just doing it because it garners ratings and fills up roster spots.
Griffin, Evans, Stevenson, Bisping, Diaz > Danzig, Sadollah, Escudero, Wilks.
Mo Johnston is what John Schneider could be in 4 years.
Season 5 is when the show peaked in terms of talent
The worst part is, nobody watched that season because it came on the heels of the massive flop that was ‘TUF: The Comeback’. It’s a shame too, because season five really was fantastic.
Agreed. Lauzon, Diaz, Gamburyan, Maynard, etc. were excellent.
Plus, we got to see BJ Penn fight on free TV.
Mo Johnston is what John Schneider could be in 4 years.
The thing that I’ll always remember is Diaz and Karo in the dressing room.

Gabe's death scene is the defining moment of that season for me
Put me back in B. Put me back in.
What about Bader?
He’s not considered good talent?
And sadollah is in my top 10 fighters just because he seems like a chill guy and was on the first TUF season I really watched. I just wish he was a better fighter.

I feel bad for the guys that get put on Kos’s team.
“Do you want to be on a team with one of the best fighters on the planet with the best trainers from each individual disciplince, or do you want to be on Koscheck’s team?”
Yeah seriously I really don’t think Koscheck will make a good coach. He is the guy that ignorantly thought GSP was a terrible wrestler and didn’t even touch it in training for a MMA match. BE PREPARED SON
I think you guys are fucking nuts.
Kos’ team is the AKA braintrust that has produced a shitload of contenders. Mendes, Cook, & Camarillo will all be there.
