I’m always surprised when people who seem to know a good deal about MMA have never seen a WEC event (not hardcore fans, but certainly more knowledgeable than a casual fan). However I will also say that if I’m talking up the WEC and they actually get Versus, it takes viewing about half an event before they’re huge fans.

a bunch of the prelims on the show. Gotta root for my coaches Hominick and Horodecki. As usual I think we have another badass card here from WEC. Can’t wait for this one.

My comments
1) a pretty strong card, as to be expected from the WEC
2) it will bomb in the ratings
3) are there any LWs besides Varner, Cerrone, and Henderson?
4) I’m alway surprised by who the they put in the prelims.

do people realize that if gsp loses to kos and anderson loses the rematch
that the WEC will have the #1 p4p fighter and still nobody will be watching it
