Anyone understand why?
Bellator is putting on this card? Seems like a bit of a waste of time. Couldn’t they just spread some of these fights over other cards? Especially with it the same night in New Orleans as the Saints opener.
Bellator 28: Who Dat
How hard could it be for Bjorn Rebney to check potential event dates vs major sporting events instead of pretending the audiences don’t partake in both.

Haha, yeah i know. My mis-understanding with this card though is really dealing with the lack of any tourney fights on it or at the very least a title fight. Why not spread some of the main card fights onto the same card as your tourney semi’s or something. Just doesn’t seem to make alot of sense to me as to why this card is going on, especially for an up-and-coming promotion.
Maybe it's contract related
Everyone on this card is probably owed a fight and rather than try to plan out something bigger and have them wait he just tossed them all together to make the best match-ups possible. /theory

Really impressed with Horwich
after he submitted Leites…curious to see how he handles Schambari’s powerful top-control.
This is an odd card. I know they can’t all be winners and there are some solid match-ups but daaaaamn.
Not that I condone facism or any ism for that matter. Isms are in my opinion, not good. A person shouldn't believe in an ism, he should believe in himself.
I quote John Lennon, "I don't believe in Beatles, I just believe in me". Good point there, after all he was the walrus. I could be the walrus. Wouldn't change the fact I have to bum rides off of people.
As a Football fan first and MMA fan second
I’m going to say this is ridiculous to even think about promoting a card on the DEFENDING SUPERBOWL CHAMPIONS HOME OPENER.

why the hate? He’s not a top tier fighter but he has had some decent wins and seems like an OK guy.
Btw, I thought he had an upcoming UFC fight. If true, I’m surprised to see him fighting for Bellator.
Irony of Clementi vs Gullard...
… In his pre-fight interview he said that with a defeat, he could “not see Guillard being kept by the UFC”.
Yet…
… Guillard still remains in the UFC and Clementi is showcasing his wares in Bellator 28: “Who Dat!”
Kinda funny to me.

BTW-- That was a great fight!
… Guillard took too many chances and Clementi capitalized on his mistakes.

![Scouting Report Update: Weekend Results - April 29th-30th
It was another week of mixed results for fighters selected in the World MMA Scouting Report. #2 Featherweight Taiki Tsuchiya was knocked out by Shooto stalwart and former Champion "Lion" Takeshi Inoue at Shooto Tradition 2011 in Japan. Meanwhile, #6 Lightweight Reza Madadi came away with a controversial decision victory over UFC regular Rich Clementi in what turned out to be a bitterly contested title fight in Madadi's home country of Sweden. During the staredown at the weigh-ins, Clementi responded to an overly aggressive Madadi with a hard headbutt attempt that thankfully missed it's target.
