Don’t tell people to have a sense of humor because they get offended by this, this is blatant racism and Floyd means for it to be blatantly racist. None of this is funny, and not just because “oh, he said some offensive things,” it’s not funny because there is nothing humorous about the way Floyd stated this. You must have some pretty loose standards as far as what makes you laugh because Floyd basically released a statement that any 5th grader could have come up with.

When the doors are closed, and you are with your close friends and family, most of you make the same kinds of statements.

I don’t think the issues here is racist jokes, the issue here is Mayweather not being very smart because these statements will LOSE him money and fans. I am not offended by what he said, its quite tame compared to so many jokes as you say. But for a public figure to say that just shows his poor critical thinking skills.

I always found that analogy a bit dumb, “What if it was a white guy that did this, bla bla bla” (this is used a lot by the media, specially Fox), if there is room to say this stuff, it means that there is already outcry for whatever it is that the person is trying to use that analogy for.

Personally I’d like a world with less people like Jesse Jackson. For me, if we all started not being offended by racist words, then people would stop saying them to get a rise out of eachother.
