UFC 119 Preview: C.B. Dollaway Talks Joe Doerksen

"Joe Doerksen is a great matchup and a very experienced fighter. He has fought a lot of the top names over the years. He has hung in there with a lot of tough guys and went to decisions with some of them, which means that he is not going to be an easy guy to finish. I’m training for a tough fight. I'm going to need everything I've been working on to defeat him. It would be a big win for me and a step up the ladder in the division."-- Check out the full interview with C.B. Dollaway at ufc.com.
"(Ryan Bader, Aaron Simpson, Jesse Forbes and I) were at the Lion's Den for a little bit. Now, we’re training at Arizona State University. We've been doing our wrestling there. We also train at the Rage in the Cage center."
"I’ve been on a big break, but our camp has been active, so I’ve been in the gym everyday helping all of them get ready for their fights."
"If you look past your opponent and then lose it sets you back quite a bit. I experienced that with the Tom Lawlor bout. I know you need to put 100% of your attention on each fight. And make sure you get that victory. This long break makes me more excited to fight. I’m just itching to get back in there and get into a fight."
"I’ve beaten some good guys, good competitors, and I think I belong here."

Doerksen fought in a Canadian promotion after his UFC113 victory over TomLawl.
How did he get away with that? Was his 113 appearance a one-fight contract deal?
Kinda of a long story but he stepped up on short notice to replace tim credeur. The fight for CFC was already agreed upon before his fight with lawlor. After defeating lawlor, the ufc told him that him if he lost his fight in CFC he wouldnt be allowed back. Since he won, he got a 3 fight deal.
Happy for El Dirte
I had the opportunity to meet him a couple years ago and have a drink with him at a bar in Montreal, really nice guy.

Ugh
CB Dollaway.
Doerksen by TKO 1. I don’t care if Dollaway is better.
Mo Johnston finally fired. Let the house cleaning and road to success begin.
He trained at Lion's Den?

Hope El Dirte strangles this dude, can’t stand DB and it’s nothin personal, it’s just his lip snarl.
Yeah something about the guy just makes me want to see him get hit really hard in the face.
