Joining Efrain Escudero on the UFC's cut list following their losses at UFC Fight Night 22 are Tomasz Drwal and John Gunderson, according to MMA Junkie.

Sad to see Drywall go!
but i guess he had it coming, Dave Branch was a tough opponent and it was clear that the loser was leaving town!
Dave Branch
is one of the least fun fighter’s I’ve ever watched fight.

Weird, I saw him in a couple really fun fights in Bellator.

but he looks like he could be real good.

Yep, I agree.
He’s had a couple of exciting fights in Bellator and he has a natural tenacity to finish fights. I urge you to reassess him Kid Nate :P

Gunderson got worked over by Edwards.
Hope Yves has worked on his ground escapes though or he’s going to get hurt bad by a halfway decent wrestler. Edwards’ confused look when Stevenson was beating him up from guard is still fresh in my mind.

Escodero got the quick hook
How is he cut, yet Mac Danzig is still employed?
" Tell me something Steve, How does a guy from Puerto Rico loose a ball in the Sun? "
*sigh*, I could just refer you to the post about Efrain
where this question was asked about 20 times, but just because I’m feeling nice:
because Danzig is entertaining to watch and never missed weight on multiple occasions, and especially not for a co-headlining fight. Missing weight (and then losing said fight in unimpressive fashion) will always put you on Dana’s and Joe Silva’s shit list far faster than just losing fights.
There are also some rumors floating around that there may have been some behind-the-scenes attitude issues with Efrain, ala Duffee, but those are still just rumors.
I didn't see that post

He's an ass

I have to wonder if any of these three fighters that were cut by the UFC are heading to Strikeforce or Bellator. I have heard that Efrain and his camp are already in talks with the two.

Drwal mentioned in an interview following his release,
that he’s moving to California full-time, so I wouldn’t be surprise to see him sign with Strikeforce soon.
The Middleweight Division is Strikeforce’s strongest division, so finding good fights for Drwal should not be a problem if he does sign with Strikeforce. Fights against Villasenor, Benji Radach or Scott Smith (if he wants to move back up to Middleweight) would be good for Drwal.

Danzig looked better in losses (Neer)
Than Efrian did in wins (Lauzon).

Eh.
Escudero looked impressive against Cole Miller.

Very
One thing that doesn’t seem to cross people’s minds is that there’s more to this, or they discussed the matter behind closed doors. Not everyone gets Duffee’d, I’d wager— and there was probably a little something going on there, too. Escudero is at a low, currently, and could probably make more money on a new deal elsewhere than play out his deal with the UFC and hope to keep his wheels on. I’m sure he’s going to be okay and we don’t have to keep comparing him directly to other TUF winners, since the world keeps turning and these things are more fluid than some silly set of rules determining how to keep or not keep someone. He’s going to do great no matter where he goes.
