I’m really surprised Mittrione is the favorite. And I wouldn’t be surprised if Doerksen beats Dollaway. I guess everything else looks about right.

agreed

also, i am a Bader fan don’t get me wrong, but I did not think he’d be close to a 2-1 favorite in this fight.

Cro Cop/Doerksen/McCorkle parlay incoming

by Polyhedron on Sep 21, 2010 10:05 AM EDT via mobile reply actions

You’re wasting it on cro cop. he’s done. i wish he wasn’t, but he can’t compete at the top levels anymore.

by castleeb on Sep 21, 2010 11:02 AM EDT up reply actions

Sure, he's on the decline,

But stylistically, Frank Mir is the easiest style matchup for him in the whole upper echelon of the UFC heavyweight division. I wouldn’t take Cro Cop over anyone else right now except for Frank Mir.

I’m seeing some good opportunities here.

Serra gets no love?

Cro Cop/Doerksen/Serra easy money.

by truck on Sep 21, 2010 10:18 AM EDT reply actions

The Serra fight i'm on the fence,

Serra got the last one but it was a close fight, if it goes to another 3 round boxing match it could be either guy who gets the win. I’d say the odds look about right since Lytle is on a hot streak but I don’t see him submitting Serra and I don’t see Serra knocking out Lytle so It’s just who puts hands on the other the most.

Drink to remember, drink to forget.

Why isn’t Hunt at least on the Spike show? Dana must hate that he has to put him on a card.

by memitim on Sep 21, 2010 10:50 AM EDT via mobile reply actions

it’s been a while, he’s an unknown quantity right now. after the Nik Lentz fiasco, i see them only putting on spike guys they absolutely know will come to fight

i think hunt loses this, he’s gonna have a hard time getting past the internet saviness of sean mckorkle

by kanodogg on Sep 21, 2010 12:32 PM EDT up reply actions

he's a frequent poster on the UG

he’s practically an internet legend lol

perhaps, but i fail to see what that has to do with his fighting skils

by kanodogg on Sep 21, 2010 5:03 PM EDT up reply actions

i like this card

i like this card. Bader vs LIl nog will be a good fight, winner gets “bones”. I think Bader will take this one, I think it will go all 3 rounds.

by suckmyballs on Sep 21, 2010 10:57 AM EDT reply actions

Jones said so in an interview a few weeks back, but there has been no official announcements or anything done by the UFC.

by Horselover Fat on Sep 21, 2010 4:04 PM EDT up reply actions

Wow didn’t expect Bader to be a clear favorite. Guess little Nog’s last fight really hurt peoples opinion on him.

by Asmo on Sep 21, 2010 11:02 AM EDT reply actions

better than Nik Lentz

Doerksen Dollaway is pretty interesting too. Would love to see Doerksen get another win

Bet the house on Matt Serra.

I don’t hink people should go as far as putting up there mortgage on Serra but I do think its the best underdog pick on this card

by Shocbomb on Sep 21, 2010 12:25 PM EDT up reply actions

BIB $$$ could be made with this Card ??????

This card is prime for a Doerksen, Serra, Sherk three-fight parlay. With Sherk Its unreal that you can still find Sherk on some websites for as high as +220, The man has only lost 4 times in his career all to champions. Hughes,GSP, Penn & Edgar, When it comes to CB he has underperformed to this point in his mma career and seems very susceptible to getting caght in Subs and I can easily Dirty catching him just like he did to lawlor. And the 3rd fight I don’t get how Serra is the underdog going into this fight ? not only do I think he is the better all around fighter he already beat Lytle ounce before. Out of all 3 fights I think this is the best one to bet stright up on the dog Serra.

by Shocbomb on Sep 21, 2010 12:23 PM EDT reply actions

My picks to win on the main card are: Mir, Nogueira, Serra, Dunham and Guillard. On the Spike broadcast, I am predicting Dollaway and Mitrione to win. There is definitely a good chance on this card for the underdog to win though.

I was thinking that Mitrione vs Beltran can go either way as well. For any Heavyweight to fight someone like Beltran on their third professional fight would be a somewhat daunting task. I believe that Mitrione has the size advantage, and he trains with Roufusport and their guys like Pat Barry, so I have to go with Mitrione. Beltran does train at a good camp with Alliance though, and like you said, Beltran is a proven fighter.

for sure another nice one. This card if a few dogs come threw has BIG $$$ written all over it. I just see alot of fights where the underdog has a great chance to win

guillard/mir/serra
