One of MMA's biggest comeback stories will have to wait a while longer to be seen on the national stage as former Celebrity Rehab star Ricco Rodriguez has been forced to withdraw from his scheduled bout against Dave Herman at Bellator 31 on September 30th due to a knee injury that will require surgery.

As for Herman, the search is on for a replacement to face "Pee Wee", who was set to make his first appearance for the promotion since May of 2009. The two sides had been locked in a contract dispute and it is believed that the bout with Rodriguez was booked as part of a settlement between the promotion and Herman to avoid taking the issue to court.
